When the complete game comes out I’ll be sure to upload a profile!
legaiaflame2ParticipantAwesome! Just got it working using the Borderlands 3 profile!!
legaiaflame2ParticipantCan this profile support Direct VR?
legaiaflame2ParticipantFigured it out from another topic. You have to disable Origin in game, which can be found in the Origin interface settings.
legaiaflame2ParticipantCan you actually move the mouse pointer/crosshairs around with the vr controller? Like moving your arm around to aim?
legaiaflame2ParticipantFound it. It’s in the delete vorpx menu. It’s working now thanks!
legaiaflame2ParticipantHow do I get to the Direct VR page of VorpX? By pressing delete in game? Is that where I can find it?
legaiaflame2ParticipantI tried everything and still can’t move my head closer to objects…

Dec 26, 2019 at 4:26am in reply to: Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Can’t read text in game please help!) #191240legaiaflame2ParticipantI have “Enable resolutions not exposed by the display” checked. Unfortunately, under global settings I have no DSR options available.
Dec 26, 2019 at 4:12am in reply to: Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Can’t read text in game please help!) #191238legaiaflame2ParticipantI have nVidia. I followed the steps for custom resolution but when I go to do the test for 1920×1440 it fails.
I also don’t know what it means by DSR factors? Dynamic Super Resolution? I have no such boxes to check in my nvidia control panel. I proceed to do the test and it fails.

I tried custom resolution but like I “said” it won’t let me make 1920×1440, my computer doesn’t support it. The only thing that works is the EdgePeek (middle mouse click). The text becomes clear but you are zoomed out. And it takes you out of the VR feel.
I wanted to find a solution that doesn’t zoom out the hud. But, ironically, the reason why the text is blurry is because Vorpx has the hud “too” zoomed in. But, when you zoom out the hud manually, it’s too zoomed out and you get taken out of the VR effect…
So, I guess I’ll have to use EdgePeek when I want to hack or read data pads. Not the end of the world, but Vorpx should take note of this and look into some scaling updates that don’t blur the hud when zoomed in…

Playing the game normally on my PC is fine. The text is clear and the graphics are crisp. So why when I use my Oculus along with Vorpx, it distorts the text?
legaiaflame2ParticipantWell, I don’t have the game yet. If anyone wants to start testing profiles that would be great.
Mar 4, 2019 at 1:28pm in reply to: Just got VorpX and 3d working with PCSX2 (PS2 Emulator)!! #179969legaiaflame2ParticipantYeah, I’m glad I found a way to make the 3d work. Already been playing a bunch of games!
I’m not sure about improving the framerate other than the things mentioned above. I know that if you use software mode you can’t upscale the graphics and everything becomes a bit blurry. It’s best to use Hardware mode with 2x resolution if your computer can handle it. If anyone else knows any other tricks let us know. Also, go to Config/Emulation Settings/Speedhacks and make sure you enable all of the speed hacks. But, maybe in your case, try disabling some of them and or setting VU Cycle stealing to 0.
Anyways, these are the best VorpX settings to get the best view with PCSX2:
-Game is best viewed in Cinema Mode
-Use Z-normal for 3D
-3d strength, Depth Weighting and Focal Distance set to max.
-Screen aspect ratio should be set to 16:10
-Click on “More Cinema Settings”
-Set screen curvature to 3.00 or max -
