Cool, I figured it was due to the animations that take you out of first person or something. That sounds like a good solution though
mrbrockParticipantThis is pretty great, its awesome being able to drive around the city inside of the car. Was finding the bumps in the road to aggressively jarring in directvr mode though so I switched it to the z-adaptive which seems to tone that down a bit. The scale gets a little weird on somethings but it also sharpens up some world details that were getting fuzzy.
mrbrockParticipantNot yet, does anyone have red dead 2 as well? I think it works on a similar system so if it works and gtav doesnt that could be useful maybe?
I recently uninstalled gtav and made sure the install folder was completely empty before installing it again but it still does the same thing. I barely get past the glass smashing sound before it crashes out. The logs don’t really seem to have any sort of error in them when it exits that I can see it just crashes out.
mrbrockParticipantI’m having the same problem as Ticlon with the same setup. Works fine if I start it without the controllers connected and crashes immediately if I turn them on. Most of the time it crashes as soon as vpxGTAV.dll loads if the controllers are already connected.
mrbrockParticipantCould you work the cables over top of an on ear set of headphones? I think you’d have to pull the cable back through the headstrap and then work the headphones in, (maybe clip them in place somehow?) and then feed the cable back through to trap the headphones in place with it.
mrbrockParticipantI would love to see any of the games in the Clauswitz engine get support. Stellaris, Crusader Kings 2, Hears of Iron 4, and Europa Universalis 4. They’re all in different versions of the same engine and I’d love to pipe them through my headset in 3d
mrbrockParticipantI’ve figured out how to properly use cinema mode and switch it into full vr mode so I’ve been playing sea of thieves in that lately.
mrbrockParticipantIt is pretty intense, swimming across open water gets my heart rate up expecting a shark but honestly its some of the coolest gaming I’ve played in my headset and its 2d with garbage tracking that I’ve jury rigged in.
mrbrockParticipantI’ve noticed some windows store games getting hooked by vorpx recently, is this one still impossible? I’ve been using a jank virtual desktop and opentrack setup to play this in my headset but it would be nice to have 3d.

They all seem to fail with no info, game doesn’t crash or anything.
