    oops i forgot to mention, even with direct VR off this issue still happens.

    i just started the game (enderal mod) without VR and books are readable.

    seems to be a VR issue then.

    yep, unfortunally edgepeek does not fix it.

    otherwise i’m having a blast with enderal mod in VR thanks to vorpx, it’s totally mindblowing.

    if only books were readable that’d be perfect.

    That’s difficult to predict unfortunately. The system is pretty mature now and has a plethora of (internal) options to find the right data, but on the other hand every single game had at least one unpleasent surprise in store so far, even if based on a largely well understood graphics engine.

    What I can promise is that more Direct VR games will be a priority, I just can’t tell how many games will have it in the end. What’s safe to say though is that it won’t be possible for every game.

    that what i thought, still the actual amount of DirectVr profiles is pretty nice, looking forward to see more of those in 2017 ^^

    Ralf,

    how long does it take to make a directVR profile for a game ? i’m sure it depends on the game itself but to have a rough idea.

    i’ve seem many people praising you for this amazing update, but at the same time i see people already wishing for more game with DirectVr support.

    so i’m curious to know if those directVr profiles are time consuming or not too much to implement.

    If you can’t solve the issue that way (which would be rather odd), the next vorpX version, which will be released in a few days, will fix it.

    you guys play at this game with vorpx in 3D geometry ? and at what fov if so ?

    months ago i was playing vorpx in VR using vorpx, full 3D geometry using the elder scroll online profile, worked great, but fov sucked, i had to put image zoom to 0.6 to have a playable fov…. once i tweaked ui it was very usable, but performance sucked even on my i7 5820k @ 4.5ghz and overclocked msi gtx 1080 gaming edition (2ghz)….

    can’t wait for that next update to arrive :D on the paper, it looks very interesting !

    it will definitively be better than playing with a xbox controller or keyboard/mouse, more intuitive, adding to the already great immersion.

    to make it clearer, if you tried doom 3 bfg VR mode, will we be able to use htc vive controllers the same way with games supported by vorpx like let’s say crysis 1 ? i’m fine with not being able to have decoupled controls, it’s the same thing in doom 3 bfg vr mode no ?

    Hello Ralf,

    this is my first message but i’ve been using vorpx since i got my htc vive back in last april.

    first, i’d like to thank you for creating this amazing piece of software, i had a lot of fun with many games thanks to your software.

    but i have one question concerning your answer to this post, what do you mean by “controller support” ? will we be able to use htc vive controllers with vorpx with the next update ? that’d be so great !
