steph12Participantyeah i got the same issue.. too bad otherwise it’s blast playing re7 in VR.
steph12Participantomg thank you so much Ralf for this amazing update :D
re7 in G3D, my dream comes true.
GTA5 in g3D another of my dream comes true.
and all other games support & improvements are also greatness.time to get some VR fun now :D
steph12ParticipantHello Ralf,
this is an amazing news !!!
i had almost lost hope to play RE7 in VR but i still had some left :p
i put RE7 on standby, was sad to have to wait one whole year for a “maybe” official capcom Vr patch for pc version.but here you come, like a Hero saying you managed to make RE7 working in geometry 3D and with scalable UI, that’s just so great news.
once again thank you so much for all your hardwork, i’m a happy vorpx user !!!
steph12Participantcool, thanks again :) much appreciated.
steph12Participantwhy the fuck did they remove it ?
steph12Participantwow nice !!!
thanks so much guys !
so now we can play with unlocked fov that’s amazing.
the only thing we need is a 3D geometry working vorpx profile now :pif only !
steph12ParticipantJust getting geometry 3D /fov fix would be amazing for cinema mode.
“just” i dont think you realize how hard it will be to get geometry + fixed fov for this game, it will probably never happen, not until capcom decide to make the pc version VR ready.
steph12Participanti wish i was not a total noob with cheat engine, looks way too complicated for me :'(
steph12Participanthello,
did you manage to set fov to let’s say 110-120 fov ? a fixed fov allowing to play the game permanently with that hacked fov ?
steph12ParticipantHello everyone, while looking on youtube I found this video
(start at 1:09:33 for VorpX settings) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJRfjBH8rKc
The headtracking seems to working well, did someone already tried this settings ?
more than one hour of useless talking.
that guy doesnt even explain what he uses to make it “work” finally he recommands to wait a whole year to play the game supported on pc by capcom.
steph12Participantif only we could have 3D working with vorpx, geometry would be so amazing but Z3D would be fine too, i think we could live with “headtracking as gamepad” relative, even if it’s not perfect.
but i’m afraid capcom did a nice job to screw us pc gamers by locking the fov so low and i dont know why but i’ve tried a ton of vorpx profile and while the game starts with some profiles, the 3D rendering doesnt work at all.steph12ParticipantSee here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEsVkceID-E
I don’t knwo whats about headtracking. May be it will work with opentrack but i don’t know.
I guess it’s possible to get a highter fov by creating a custom resolution?i just tried, following carefully all instructions and…
it looks shit, plays shit, and no presence feeling at all.
just uninstalled RE7 again, will definitively wait for a real geometry experience with roomscale etc etc etc.steph12Participanti tried changing fov in re7.ini but game crashes.
for example there is a line fov=40 any value different than 40 makes the game crash.
there is another value fov related like defaultFoV or something like that i dont remember with value like 1,2,3,4,5 etc and i know it is related to fov 60,65,70,75,80 etc. i’m not 100% sure about those values, i uninstalled RE7 untill it’s fully playable in VR.
so basically i was stuck with fov 90 at best.
did you manage to go higher than 90 ?
steph12Participantone question tho, can you bypass the narrow 90 fov ?
