RalfKeymasterHi Maichevski,
I’ll look into the invert Y option. Seems to make sense to keep things consistent.
MMB Remapping: Yes this will be possible with the next update. The original idea was to keep things simple, but this particular option is requested pretty often, so it will be included.
RalfKeymasterA first maintenance update is scheduled for the start of next week. But don’t beat me if it gets delayed by a few days. ;)
RalfKeymasterHi Dom,
You should have received your key already. Please send a mail to support |at| vorpx com describing your issue, and we sort that out. Did you send your request code?
RalfKeymasterHi ABoni,
Please send an e-mail to support |at| vorpx com describing the issue, ideally with your Order-ID, and we will sort this out as soon as possible. Did you send your request code? Shouldn’t take anywhere near that long to get an activation.
RalfKeymasterYes, that is normal. Unsupported games have no stereoscopic 3D, everything else works though. In most (almost all) cases there should be a message displayed on startup whenever that is the case.
Hope that helps.
RalfKeymasterFor some people using aspect ratios other than 16:10 doesn’t seem to work as expected, since their Rifts do not scale these resolutions up to fullscreen. This results in behaviour similar to what you describe.
In this case you should either stick to the standard resolution (1280×800) or activate GPU scaling in the control panel of your graphics card. This way the GPU can scale down the resolution to 1280×800 so that the Rift receives the resolution it expects regardless of the game resolution.
Hope that helps.
RalfKeymasterHi Helvie,
please send a mail to support |at| vorpx com describing your issue if you haven’t done so already. Maybe you received a faulty key.
RalfKeymasterRemapping of the middle mouse button will be possible in the next update. Actually it isn’t really hardcoded in a strict sense already, so the re-mapping option is easy to add.
RalfKeymasterFSX is a slow game, and rendering everything twice makes it even slower. Even a fast Core i7 runs usually below 60fps in Geometry 3D mode in FSX.
To switch 3D modes, hit [DEL] to open the menu. The menu option is called “3D Reconstruction”. Be aware that the Z-Buffer 3D doesn’t look as natural as the Geometry 3D mode, the price for being twice as fast.
Hope that helps.

RalfKeymasterFor gamepad input (when the internal gamepad emulation is used) this will be included in the next version. Doing it for mouse input might not be possible, but I’ll think about it.
RalfKeymaster>> which the other drivers don’t have and is ideal for games like Deus Ex
>> Human Revolution which uses a lot more keysThat’s exactly what it is meant for :)
You can enter your own descriptions, of course. Don’t know what the bug is yet, but most likely it’s something incredibly stupid. Happens sometimes…
RalfKeymasterAnother thing to try: Some graphics cards come with monitoring/overclocking utilities (MSI Afterburner for example). Could anyone with the crash and one of these tools please check whether disabling (ideally uninstalling) it does make any difference? It’s just a guess, but sounds worth a try. Thanks in advance.
VSync shouldn’t make a difference. Already tried Vsync on and off, guessing that maybe very high framerates might trigger the problem. Apparently that is not the case.
RalfKeymasterNormally you should be able to do this directly in the in-game menu (VR-Keys Page) by clicking on some buttons and then pressing a key. For some reason this doesn’t work in the current build though…
Last minute bug. It worked fine for months, will be fixed soon.
RalfKeymasterLet’s not start to argue about this. As already said a shader fix system is in place, and used for some things, obviuosly not for Skyrim shadows (so far).
These mods fix things in games that a company like nVidia thinks are OK. That might tell you something. ;)
RalfKeymasterSame answer as always to this question :) : I’ll look into it, but no promises.
