If you do get it working I’ll love you forever!

    +1

As Adrian said we can’t run the game with a renamed exe. So is there a way we can change the VorpX rFactor.exe entry to rFactor2.exe?

Thanks for the update Ralf, I especially love the Payday 2 support.

Yes it works well, but there is no stereoscopic 3d yet. I do like it better than using a monitor.

I enjoy payday in the rift, but some things are rendered funny, like Clover’s hair and glass windows – they appear at varying distances away from where they should be and wobble around when I move my head. I couldn’t get any positional tracking even when enabled. Overall it is still a great experience and I am very happy support has been added. I get acceptable framerates by turning down some of the graphics options in Payday.

My problem with the error message was solved by uninstalling the Trackmap plugin (it used a custom d3d9.dll).

So I can start rF2 with VorpX, but I cannot get any 3d reconstruction mode to work. So for now it is 2D only.

Live for Speed has excellent native DK2 support, just install the patch for it and it works on its own without VorpX

Thanks for your response Ralf! I hope you succeed.

users in the ISI Forum are very knowledgeable

That’s true, for example Vittorio somehow managed to get 3d mirrors working using his custom Tridef profile (there is actual depth in the mirror image) –

So I’m sure there will be people willing to help if they can.

Have you enabled ‘Expert Settings’ in the VorpX configuration?

Then open up Skyrim and press the delete key to get the VorpX Settings main page, Focal Offset is at the bottom

    Separation (3d Strength)
    3D FOV Enhancement
    Camera Height Modifier
    Focal Offset

For me it made a huge difference.

Sometimes my head tracking doesn’t work in Skyrim but restarting VorpX and Skyrim gets it working again. It does seem like in game head movement is very subtle, I would like to increase it a bit so it matches my real head movement.

I have used these settings to get Skyrim looking nearly perfect in terms of 3d and scale, from another forum:

…first enable the advanced settings (there is a check box in the VorpX configuration thing) press delete when you are in game and adjust the stereo separation and the focal offset.

At the moment for Skyrim I am using
    stereo separation: 1.25
    focal offset: 1.00
    3d fov enhancement: 0.50
And I set my field of view to 100 degrees using instructions from here http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2227329
