    It’s Work !

    DirectVR mode has been well recognized by Vorpx
    And so we have a real stereoscopic 3D now (not Z3D)
    Little bug of the game or vorpx (Dunno?)! the mask of the binoculars seems too short

    My most embarrassing problem is always (has always been) the zoom whose maximum setting is too short at 90% (why not 100% or more?) Because I see the upper and lower edges with a Vive.

    But that did not stop me from killing 4 bisons at .454 before I ran out of ammo

    I confrim,
    I have the same Vorpx crash when I click in “Restore Game Settings”.

    I did this by re-mapping on the other controller. we lose shortcuts but not too much choice.

    And for the jump / crouch ? an idea why this does not work?

    I tried with another mode from the menu :
    “Vive hand Controler Settings”,
    – Controller Mode, set to “GamePad”
    But then, no buttons respond except the EdgePeek.
    the game does not see the Vive Controller at all as a “GamePad”, only Vorpx sees it.

    Other Adjustment Issues
    How to use “Crouch / Jump” feature?
    If enabled, the headset must start the command to lie down or raise up if it detects that the height has change no?
    I tested with the default values, and trying other but it does not react. even having put the right Keys

    I made a second video on this subject, where you can see ingame, the Vorpx settings menu.
    And it’s in Stand up mode, almost a “Roomscale” mode ;)

    Sorry, i just test it with remote wand, and we have already this feature for zoom EdgePeek (on left grip)

    hijack topic,
    With remotes vive controlers , I can almost do everything except, use my rifle scopes or binacular, in my game. normally I use a mouse wheel to do this, but it seems that I can not cumulate a right trigger action with a left button of the remotes
    (RMB to look in the binocular, and mouse wheel to adjust the zoom in x2 / x4 x8)

    Future Suggestion?
    If we want to try to play in roomscale mode, in this case, not the game controller but the remotes controllers Vive / Oculus, could we also imagine a system of this kind?

    Same thing here, but for a sitting game who work better with a gamepad controller.
    In VR, is touchy to found the good key in blind
    If not, can it be via external software?

    Edit: I have already a software for remap keystroke with my Gamepad controller (Scp Toolkit Manager PS3 to Xbox) and it’s works now

    It is possible that the numbers I give in percentage are inaccurate
    (that’s why I did not give figures in pixel) but that’s what I feel visually in VR. I can not measure it.

    In fact, if you raise the Image Zoom above 1.0, the red circle will actually be smaller, but we lose in visible image (especially in verticality)
    If i set Image Zoom to 0.90
    I can see the whole image vertical but in this case, it “adds a black band down (or an ambient blur) where the image stops. (Why not black band at the top, a decentration vertically )?

    To better test, or explain it would be necessary to make a VR application with a target and a grid.

    I update this tread with last video i make and some better setting
    – Nvidia GTX 1080 Card
    – Resolution used: 2715 x 1697 (native resolution doubled by Nvidia DSR)
    – No other SuperSampling (like SteamVR)
    – FOV : 95 (suitable for 16/10 set to 100 for 4/3)
    – Additional vorpx sharpen filter at 1.60
    – Vsync: Off
    – SSAO: 0

    Sorry, it’s in French in the text;) … but the key is that it works

    I have just found my “sweet spot” for this game with my set (HTC Vive + GTX 1080)
    I have share the custom profil ont the Vorpx base online

    For that i use with this,
    – Multi Sampling by SteamVR at 1.5
    – Edit the settings.json file in my documents :
    and set theses options to :
    “DisplayFullscreen”: 0,
    “DisplayWidth”: 1600,
    “DisplayHeight”: 1600,
    “DisplayRefreshRate”: 0,
    “DisplayVSync”: 0,
    “GameFOV”: 100,

    In vorpx profile, i have set a sharpen filter on the video because without that, we were “too close”, and blurred the game
