Hello all,
i’m considering buying VorpX so that my father can play Avatar Frontiers in VR as he loves that universe.
Does the game currently works well in full VR, like cyberpunk 2077 full VR 3D and what would be the best settings or tweaks that i would need to do?
thanks :)
Not sure what is going on but suddenly VorpX cannot be run at all because it keeps giving an error that cannot find “MSVCP140.dll” and “VCRUNTIME140.dll” .
I tried to reinstall it and it fails for the same reason during the installation.
I also tried this fix from microsoft explained here: “https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/error-message-for-msvcp140dll-and-vcruntime140dll/8c2c0803-08ac-4275-838e-b692077b5c9e”
But the setup doesn´t finish as it detects a previous version installed, and I cannot remove it from Programs list because it fails during the uninstall as well.
:(
I´m trapped and VORPX doesn´t even start …. HELP?
Just like any other CP2077 mod the standalone mod version has to be removed to disable it.
The full version only activates itself while vorpX is running. Make sure to use the 24.1.0 cutting edge build that is liked on the front page. That one has all the Cyberpunk features of the standalone mod, the last regular build doesn’t.
Thanks for replying!
I installed VorpX for CP2077 and the game launches expecting the VR kit to be used.
To use regular Cyberpunk, I have to run the Uninstall and revert.
So I’m using the standalone CP2077 VorpX.
Perhaps I’m expecting too much to have a switchable instance of VorpX and ought to go to the full VorpX?
Not a vorpX bug, actually a workaround for a CP2077 bug. The game has graphical glitches when raising the camera field of view above a certain point, mostly models/textures streaming in too late or not at all. The capped image zoom ensures that the camera FOV stays below the glitch inducing value.
Lesser of two evils. All you loose are a few degrees of vertical FOV, which is way better than the broken geometry/texture streaming you’d get otherwise.
you must use a dx12 games profiles . for exemple cyberpunk2077. i have upload my profile on cloud.
Star Citizen and upcomming games Cyberpunk 2077 and Watch Dogs 3
___________
https://www.steppermotor.fr provides a variety of different types of gear reducers including planetary reducers, parallel shaft reducers, and worm reducers.
Tesselation up to 15 in .ini files (two separate lines) is great. I hesitated a lot with Low, but for now, I play with ClarityFX to full and sharpness/texture enhancement to 2.0. Walls with corals are very detailed and sharp in Dyonisus Park. It gives volume to rust/coral.
This game is very impressive in VR. You don’t need to play recent games to get stunning graphics with VorpX. Even with an RTX4090, it’s better overall than Cyberpunk 2077 in VR.
When I try path tracing, vorpX keeps crashing. Are there some settings or something I’m missing, or does path tracing just not work with it?
Thanks in advance.
Where are the controller mappings for Cyberpunk 2077, and more importantly, how can I change them?
Thanks in advance.
It been a while since I’ve played CP2077. If I remember correctly, switching to Z-Adaptive Cinema mode from DirectVR Full VR seemed to work. I was using the stand alone CP2077 VorpX version. Turning 3D off completely in photo mode might work as well?
I experienced the same type of memory leak type crashing in photo mode using DirectVR Full VR. Photo mode would work start very laggy progressively getting more laggy and laggy until freezing.
I’m having an issue with the free standalone mod for cyberpunk 2077. When I boot the game with steam vr, I get the tutorial for the motion controls which I’m able to do, but as soon as it prompts me to press a button on my motion controls to exit the tutorial, it doesn’t respond, I have to press E on the keyboard. From that point, I have to use the keyboard and mouse, and while the camera does track my head motion, the game displays in a floating screen in front of me, even though I have theatre view disabled. I installed the mod onto a clean install of the game.
Any suggestions?
Bioshock Infinite (especially Burial at Sea Episode 2) and Bioshock 1 original (I guess Bioshock 2 original is even better) if you have an old graphic card.
Metro 2033/Last Light, etc. are awesome (Metro Exodus is the most beautiful game you could do I think). But a good graphic card is needed.
All Bioshock and Metro have G3D (even if raytracing without G3D can be a good option too in Metro Exodus).
Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t the best because even with an RTX4090, it’s not enough.
Elden Ring, Death Stranding, Guardian of the galaxy are really better in VorpX (even if it’s not full VR).
Redfall too. Deathloop is Ok (especially the end).
I guess games like Farcry Primal, Dishonored, Prey 2017, etc. must be really good (I think they have G3D but I didn’t try them yet).
Dying Light 1 of course.
First person game that allow you to have high 4:3 resolution (3480×2880 or at least 2880×2160) and 120 FOV are like native games in VorpX (with G3D, or at least Z3D but It’s not so important to me and even without 3D at all, some games are awesome in full VR).
Any game with good looking graphics, heights/vertigo or giant environment/ennemies are usually great in VorpX.
You must use a dx12 profiles, cyberpunk2077 for exemple. For bypass the problem of file exe, you can rename deadspace.exe to deadspace1.exe than add the new exe on profile
Please use the latest cutting edge build for CP2077:
