    Hi,

Can someone help me to setup oculus ? I have some issues because oculus is showing the FULL screen on the display. That means one picture on the 7″ screen and not 2 (like you see in the videos)

I“ve bought oculus from a guy here in my city and i also bought the vorpx drivers.

I connected oculus to my notebook HDMI and USB and also attached the power apater.

then i started the Vorpxcontrol and i tried to run Arma 3. i can see the vorpx overlay , 3d stereoscopic and the resolution is 1280×800… But it does not start to show 2 pictures ( One for each eye ).

Do i have to install some other drivers or copy in .dll files ??

    Please help me, thanks !

    cheers

(was meant to post here, accidently posted prev in wrong thread)

For Separate Gun and Head Tracking, like when playing VR in Team Fortress 2, is it possible to use ‘VorpX’ and ‘Opentrack’ at the same time?

I just got VorpX and have used it for COD Ghosts, and Battlefield 4. Its great! the only thing that is missing is separate Headtracking to Gun Tracking.

I saw this video of some guy playing Arma 3 with Separate tracking using ‘Opentrack’ and ‘VorpX’ what do you think??? BTW I have never used Opentrack.

What the title states, vorpx simply wont run at all in game. Im running a q9550 with a gtx 660ti and 12gb ram, so more than sufficient hardware. I’ve tried reinstalling vorpx numerous times with restarting my computer. I’ve disabled all programs that may even have the slightest chance to conflict with it (hooks, antiviruses, etc). I’ve followed everything on the basic troubleshooting. I’ve been testing between 4 games: Portal 2, Skyrim, Dirt 3, and ArmA 3. Not one have showed what apparently is a red vorpx overlay, they just start normally. Hitting DEL does nothing whatsoever…

Now does anyone have any clue to even (bare bones) just starting this?

As far as I see it, I’ve wasted $40 on this garbage…

I just wanted to say i like the start so far, its not perfect and to be honest not quite what i had hoped but…..its not bad for a beta and i like the features so far. I tried out a few games, arma 2, skyrim, and world of warcraft 3.3.5. I found that in the recommendations of using 1280 x 960 resolution that seems to work the best as far as having a correct aspect ratio. But as others have pointed out the Feild of view is rather small in most games. it helps in games that you can adjust the feild of view. a tip with World of Warcraft is to download the wow machinima tool and use the fov slider on that (but that seems to reset whenever you hit a loading screen) and the 3d depth in world of warcraft doesnt seem that good yet. but i think so far not a bad driver set, head tracking also sometimes feel like it sways a bit side to side at a angle but..im sure it will be worked out in the future. :-) thanks for releasing it and i hope feedback will provide lots of help for improvements!

    :-)
