Messiah (D3D and Glide) – G3D/Z3D
This is the first game that i got running in multiple modes with different renderers, very interesting ! You can run this game in D3D (G3D/Z3D) and Glide (Z3D), where in my opinion GLIDE looks the best. Haha who thought Glide would come into VR one day .-)
The D3D Renderer works stable in SAFE MODE, but doesnt seem to have sound, you may edit the safemode .bat to get the sound back. With G3D certain objects are at HUD depth only, so i recommend Z3D or dont even bother with D3D, just run the game with the Glide Renderer (MessiahGlide3x).
Requires DGVoodoo2 v2.6 , throw the Glide dlls and the D3D dlls into the games folder, set both Glide and D3D to max memory and “force resolution” to the max, eg. 2880×1620 etc.
IMRORTANT: If your graphics look blurry in GLIDE mode, choose a higher ingame resolution at 32 bit and force resolution with DGVoodoo2 also. If you encounter one eye become dark, go back to main menu and restart game.
– Optimized for Cinema Modes
– Full VR w. Headtracking available !
– Running GLIDE Z3D recommended
– Profile available at the cloudI got Valheim to work with my HP Reverb G2, Geometry 3D and all that good stuff.
Everything seems to check out except for one thing, it’s really dark. Especially the game is unplayable at in-game night, even if I set the gamma up to 1.4.
If I set the gamma up way more than that it might be a bit more visible but the darks still look really washed out like the dynamic range has become extremely low. Is this a common problem?

After last update, vorpx cant hook this game. This game are dx12 , so I hook with cyberpunk profile. But after update vorpx dont hook this game. Anyone have a solution?
Dishonored is my favorite VorPx game and Dark Messiah is the predecessor of Dishonored and yes, it has a VorPx profile.
Installation is easy, hooks to the profile and looks really 3D with VorPx. Engine has aged well, so I play it without mods.
Gameplay is very well suited for VR, because use of environment is fundamental in this game.
I had problem with crashes. Messed around with tipps from internet, but could not solve it. So I stopped playing with VorPx and played on flat screen. After I adjusted all options and played through chapter 1 I tried again with VorPx and it runs perfectly now.
Controls are a pain in the ass. Rift S controllers are supported, XBox controller is supported, but it plays much better with mouse and keyboard. In fact it is the first VorPx game I play with mouse and keyboard.
After a few hours playing I can tell that this belongs to my best experiences with VorPx.
I’m really curious if it will works.
Anybody tried it during the closed Beta or plan to try during the early access on the 17th ?Just tried the game DARK LIGHT in 3D and also found the appropriate profile (Engine: UNITY, Game: Ori and the…).
So what happens now is the menu screen being perfectly in 3D but during the game in the acutal levels, there is no 3D-effect at all.
I guess the levels (other than the menu screen) are programmed in a way not being based on the appropriate “depth-infos” vorpX needs to gather in order to render its 3D-effects? Or could there be another issue?
