Thank you for your fast replies. For what ever reason there is no mouse control at all when running the software. I run everything at full screen but again as soon as I put the headset on mouse control is not available but when I place my WMR in my lap the mouse works fine. I do not know why. Very frustrating.

I have tried BF4 and metro. I hear a clicking noise when I hit the number one mouse button but nothing happens. When I take the headset off the mouse button functions as it supposed to. However when I put the headset back on the mouse button is non functional as if it’s expecting me to have hand controllers which I do not have.

If this can even run as well (like as well as Bioshock infinite) even at like 50 fps with motion smoothing working out the rest, I would buy this game just for the experience of online multiplayer VR in a new fallout environment.

Does anyone know if any profiles will copy well to We Happy Few? It’s a first person survival story game set in a 60s style dystopia, something really worth getting an immersive look at. I don’t quite understand the process enough to know what game profiles to test out and see myself. Or if the game is on the wrong engine for VorpX.

The new update broke Skyrim + ENB for me. I just get a black screen in Rift and a small grey square in the top left corner on the monitor. The vorpx overlay works and I can change Full VR to Cinema Mode for example where I look at black screen also (but I do see the cinema around me). It works without ENB like normal.

I reseted vorpx to factory default.
    Reseted Skyrims INI files.
    Updated nvidia drivers.
    Updated ENB’s dlls.

I know ENB was always prone to bugs/crashes with vorpx and only worked for me at least with the injector but it DID work. I don’t use vorpx for anything else so it would be very nice if someone could help me.

Running Windows 7 x64 by the way.

I guess you are talking about plain shooters, though i wouldnt know any game without you having to open a menu every once in awhile.

just a few shooters that already have a profile in the cloud providing G3D:
    Chrome
    Turning Point: Fall of Liberty
    Just Cause
    Psychotoxic
    Legendary
    The Regimnent
    Section 8
    Red Ocean
    Splinter Cell 1+2
    Any Terrorist Takedown Game
    Code of Honor 1-3
    Blacksite
    SAS:Secure Tomorrow
    The Thing
    Infernal
    Pariah
    Unreal 2
    Scorpion Disfigured
    Hellgate London (!)

I think the issue lies with the way the Oculus Core with Dash work now. Prior to Core 2 / Dash, there was only one monitor listed in Nvidia, now there’s 2. I’ll assume this is “messing” with what is being suggested in this post? I don’t mind adding custom resolutions, but it shouldn’t be done to a display that can’t handle them, and it doesn’t state in the original post how to manage that with the new Oculus core, and 2 monitors listed in the Nvidia control panel. I’ll leave things alone until further instructions are given, seeing as we can’t go back to the original Oculus core / home.

Random inquiry: just read on the internet that every beta partipicant has been given three extra keys to give away. Not really sure if that’s true, but if it is, and someone has one to spare, let me know. Would be a great help to get something official ready as fast as possible after launch.

Not sure if DirectVR memory scanning will be possible given it’s an online game, but I’d be happy to check that.

Yes, and there’s a mod on Nexus to let you tweak the HUD for ultrawide (it’s squashed if you use the INI edits) so we could conceivably tweak it for VR as well and arrange the HUD elements in a better location without too much difficulty.

PC specs: 1080ti doing most of the heavy lifting, I think another reason I switched out of Geometry was because I was indeed running a wonky ultrawide resolution for my monitor and that was just too many pixels to crunch for G3D. I didn’t get a chance today to try anything due to work but will fiddle a bit on the Sunday session and see if G3D can be made more playable.

One annoying about the INI edits is some of them are ignored or just reset.

Man, I hope they add official support in a few years. This kind of world with consistent updates, proximity chat, and the promised private servers and mods in 2019 would be a wonderful thing to have for years to come.

Look for a “Lock headroll” type setting in the main vorpX config. It might also be in the delete key menu.

Thanks for the response. Got it working pretty good now I think. In the Vorpx taskbar config I leave “Enable Head Tracking Roll” on, the in game “del menu” I have “HT Roll” on, “HT Positional Tracking” on, and “HT Pos Tracking Strength” set at 2.00, might up it a bit, and it seems pretty natural.

There’s some clipping, I can stick my head through walls, and if the strength is too high, and I look around a corner fast, a opening down the hallway will be black, looses the texture. Probably a performance thing at my end.

Guess I missed the “HT Positional Tracking” in the beginning, when that’s off, I can’t look around corners, makes sense.

Hi all, new guy here. Just purchased Vorpx a few days ago, having a blast.

I’ve got AI running well, but I have an issue I can’t seem to sort out. I’ve searched here, and the net, but have not found a working answer. I’m using a Rift, G3D, and a Ps4 controller, and I’m unable to “look around corners”. When I tilt my head, the whole screen is tilting as well. What setting do I need to change to stop this behavior. I’ve tried every “del menu” item that might seem applicable, and nothing seems to help.

I don’t understand what’s being done here. Is this only for people with 4k displays? My computer is connected to a 1080p tv, so the max output for that display is 1920×1080, 60Hz, that’s the max. There’s a lot of resolutions already listed, none of them are over 1080, and there shouldn’t be, the tv is not capable of anything higher.

I’m using a Rift Cv1 for Vr, and it’s also available under “Change Resolution”, listed as “VR-Desktop”, and only has a single resolution available, it’s 3840×2160.

Where are the above changes supposed to be made in “Change Resolution”, my LG tv, or under the Rift listing, VR-Desktop?

I really don’t think I want to be “testing” 2240×1680 on a 1080p tv, do I? That’s my concern, the testing of resolutions that are way outside of what my tv is capable of?

You can run the game in full VR mode technically, but since it’s a third person game that does make limited sense. Third person games always default to immersive screen mode.

You will need a first person mod and a FOV mod to play it comfortably in full VR mode.

Geometry 3D has a pretty huge impact on performance since everything has to be rendered twice (once for each eye) and on top that there is some additional overhead for rendering to the headset. Even with your GPU you likely are better of to not crank up all detail settings to ultra.

    Thank you Ralf.

So immersive screen or cinema makes most sense?

I tried Cinema and it looked quite good.

However Immersive screen as this grey outer border, rather than black. Is there a way to get rid of that?

Would you reccomend immersive or cinema?

So, FOV scales automatically with manual resolution setting in the ini file:

I changed the following lines and left everything else alone:

    iSize H=2160
    iSize W=3840
    bFull Screen=1
    bBorderless=0

Launching the game again, the whole screen was in use, but I wasn’t sure if it was being used properly or if a 16:9 aspect ratio was merely being stretched to fill the desired resolution.

I don’t have Fallout 76, but I saw this article and thought of you guys.
