I see dirt 5 and cyberpunk many times (probably will) but I could add a bannerlord that is already in beta. new amnesia or need for speeda heat. All the games are cool

Waiting on my HP G2 to arrive… Been waiting all summer/fall to get Vorpx and play Cyberpunk 2077 in VR. If Ralf adds G3D for CP77 I would seriously pay $100 for it.

Hopefully with a 3090 and Zen 3 I will have the horsepower needed

ORRRR…. ahem…option twoooo……(steepling fingers with one eyebrow raised) Valhalla to keep us occupied for the next 3 weeks while we’re all chomping at the bit, then Cyberpunk as it pretty much deserves its own release as well as fireworks. ;)

If both come out in the same release my brain would overload. Haha.
Its all good… just too excited for both of these bad boys.

I asked in the game forums and it looks like the redux version has a slider fov for up to 120 fov, and since it’s UE4 and dx11, it looks like a good candidate for fullvr and geo3d, so Ralf any chance that we could get an official profile for this? I can’t think of a game more appropiate for VR than this cyberpunk detective tale, bladerunner style.

    Good to know thanks.
Praise be to Z3D – its letting me extend the life of my 1080ti as long as possible. I’m sure Cyberpunk will crush it like a toothpick house and start it on fire, but it’ll be worth it.
    Cheers!

the only good thing about this delay is that yes we’ll probably be able to upgrade our gpu before cyberpunk 2077.

but when cdprojekt officially state “no more delay, the game is gold, dont worry guys” and then about 2 weeks before 17 november they report it AGAIN, we have the right to be angry.

but death threats are indeed way too much and should be punished.

now i’m almost ready to see another delay 1 week before 10 december or so to an unknown release date.

but hey, there are so many great games to play, i dont have enough time to play them all aha, my backlog is so huge, but it’s great, i’d take that anyday than having nothing exciting to play.

    oh and thanks dborosev <3

2020 actually. But after 3 or 4 delays, by the time it comes, I’m already going to have real cybernetic implants.

Are you going to release a profile next week ? Or is next vorpX release only planned after the release of Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla ?

    what a nightmare.

    https://www.guru3d.com/news_story/geforce_rtx_3080_and_3090_shortages_will_last_through_2021.html

looks like i wont be able to play cyberpunk 2077 in all its glory and hopefuly with vorpx because stuck with my old but beloved gtx 1080.

i bet it will run on updated witcher 3 engine, read more nextgen proof, with RTX and so on, the fact that cdprojekt has already announced that they’re going to release the witcher 3 with RTX and others stuff on nextgen consoles make me think both games have the same engine as base.

that means we can be optimistic that we’ll be able to play cyberpunk 2077 in VR using vorpX :D

Hi Ralf, I know you love being cornered into making comments on predicting the future, and then having people take your response as a signed contract of commitment.
So, to make your day, I just thought I’d start a conversation about what you think so far, in terms of what we know about the engine, any technical nuances which may present problems, etc?
How do things look in general regarding this game, not having actually seen it yet?
Should I keep my spot at the front of the hype train, with my party hat on? Or just stop playing games forever after having realized that god has abandon me?
    No pressure.

6gb vram on 3070 and 10 gb vram on 3080 is a no go for me, specially with the upcoming nextgen games.

i’m going to wait for at least 16-20gb cards, like the probably upcoming (in a few months) rtx 3080 ti.

that being said, if it doesnt release before cyberpunk 2077 i’ll just go rtx 3090.
