    Is there any way to use the photo mode in Cyberpunk? It crashes no matter what I do. I’ve tried Full VR, Immersive Mode, and Cinema Mode. Is there something else I’m doing wrong?

    Please first make sure that you use the latest version of both the game and the mod. The mod utilizes the Cyber Engine Tweaks modding framework, each CET version only ever works with the Cyberpunk version it was released for.

    If things still don’t work after checking the above, check the huge instructions panel to the right of the tutorial screen. In case the game got an update that requires a CET update, you’ll find all you need to know to update CET there.

    I’m having an issue with the free standalone mod for cyberpunk 2077. When I boot the game with steam vr, I get the tutorial for the motion controls which I’m able to do, but as soon as it prompts me to press a button on my motion controls to exit the tutorial, it doesn’t respond, I have to press E on the keyboard. From that point, I have to use the keyboard and mouse, and while the camera does track my head motion, the game displays in a floating screen in front of me, even though I have theatre view disabled. I installed the mod onto a clean install of the game.

    Any suggestions?

    So a few years ago I stumbled across the NR2003 profile made for VorpX By TheBenCrazy and gave it a try (see here for details https://www.vorpx.com/forums/topic/nascar-racing-2003-season-possible/). It’s impressive what VorpX was able to do with that old game! I got everything working, but unfortunately it only supports 3DOF (rotation only), not 6DOF (rotation and translation), and as I tend to move my head around a lot while racing that didn’t take long to cause VR motion sickness for me (something I’ve never experienced with any other VR game). So because of that I had to give up on the dream of running NR2003 with the full VR experience and settle for Cinema mode.

    Now here a few years later, I loaded VorpX again to play Cyberpunk and in the process I noticed there is now a feature to utilize TrackIR support in games that have support for that device built into it. Well NR2003 had support for it as well (see games list here on their site – https://www.trackir.com/games) so I figured it should be an option, however it doesn’t show up.

    So the million dollar question for Ralf – would it be possible to create a new official profile for that game that can utilize the game’s TrackIR support to provide full 6DOF tracking in Direct VR mode? The current profile TheBenCrazy built relies on a mod called NRCamHack that allows the headset tracking to emulate mouse movement, but I’m thinking if you can instead use the TrackIR API it should allow 6DOF? At least that’s my hope, but I’m not a game dev so I can’t say for sure. TrackIR site says the game supported for 6DOF with TrackIR so I figured there’s at least a chance.

    Bioshock Infinite (especially Burial at Sea Episode 2) and Bioshock 1 original (I guess Bioshock 2 original is even better) if you have an old graphic card.

    Metro 2033/Last Light, etc. are awesome (Metro Exodus is the most beautiful game you could do I think). But a good graphic card is needed.

    All Bioshock and Metro have G3D (even if raytracing without G3D can be a good option too in Metro Exodus).

    Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t the best because even with an RTX4090, it’s not enough.

    Elden Ring, Death Stranding, Guardian of the galaxy are really better in VorpX (even if it’s not full VR).
    Redfall too. Deathloop is Ok (especially the end).

    I guess games like Farcry Primal, Dishonored, Prey 2017, etc. must be really good (I think they have G3D but I didn’t try them yet).

    Dying Light 1 of course.

    First person game that allow you to have high 4:3 resolution (3480×2880 or at least 2880×2160) and 120 FOV are like native games in VorpX (with G3D, or at least Z3D but It’s not so important to me and even without 3D at all, some games are awesome in full VR).

    Any game with good looking graphics, heights/vertigo or giant environment/ennemies are usually great in VorpX.

    I’m planning to try Deus Ex: Mankind Divided in VR. After some rough experiences with Cyberpunk, I’ve found that “other” VR mod preferable for playing it. However, Deus Ex might be better suited for traditional 2D gaming for the time being.

    you must use cyberpunk profile. for all game that work with dx12

    You must use a dx12 profiles, cyberpunk2077 for exemple. For bypass the problem of file exe, you can rename deadspace.exe to deadspace1.exe than add the new exe on profile

    @Ralf Will the current Cyberpunk VR Vorpx mod work with 2.12A? Or will there be a new release for it? Also is it possible to get older versions of Cyberpunk VR? I personally like 2.1

    Hello everyone,

    every works fine except one thing: Looking down unarmed.
    When doing it, the vr view flickers and also it changes to poster view for a moment.
    It happens with headtracking on/off and with vr-controller or normal controller/keyboard input.
    But when holding a weapon (also melee) or with the opened options menu, the problem doesn’t occur.

    What setting could be here the problem?(config below)
    Bug or conflicts between headtracking and input?

    I couldnt find any similar topic.
    I appreciate the help and thanks to devs for this awesome mod!

    Please make sure that both Cyberpunk and the mod are updated to the latest version. The latest version of the mod works fine with Cyberpunk 2.12.

    Next time the mod ceases to work after a game update make sure to check the huge instructions panel in the launch environment. You’ll find all information you need to make it work again without having to wait for a new version of the mod in these instructions.

    Hi… after update 2.11 and 2.12 the game is unplayable with lots of stutters. If I disable CONNECTION MODE the stutters go away, but the option to enable DIRECTVR disappear, only Z-normal and Z-adaptive is active.
    I have the last CET. Tested with pimax and pico 4.
    In flat screen is fine.
    I used Vorpx and CyberpunkVR the same story. Any idea? Thanks

    I have the latest version of Cyberpunk 2077 (2.12) and VorpX.
    I don’t have any mods or overlay enabled.
    I run it on an AMD 7800x3d/RTX 4070Ti
    It stopped working some time go, but now I would really want to play it in VR.
    Hogwarts Legacy doesn’t work neither.

    That Oculus/DX12 incompatibility shouldn’t exist anmore, definitely not for Cyberpunk at least. Sorry for the confusion. I can’t recall currently whether there is still a reason for the warning, but probably I just forgot to remove it.

    You will need the version linked below for a decent CP2077 experience. Works totally different for CP2077 than the last regular build you got on purchase:
