The e-mail address linked to that purchase is entirely different from the one you posted above.

Please make sure to enter the mail address that you used to register vorpX into the download form and also use that address to request a new key, otherwise the system will not process your requests.

Regarding your virus scanner:

This is a false positive.

vorpX “injects” other programs which some av programs may classify as malicious behaviour without really being sure about it.

Please report this as a false positive to your av vendor so they can fix the issue.

In the meantime please disable your virus scanner or exclude the vorpX program folder from scanning.

Sorry for the inconvenience. This is as annoying for us as it is for you.

In general I would recommend to use Windows Defender, which provides a good level of protection without the annoying invasiveness of some other virus scanners.

I can’t do much without a way to link you (respectively your e-mail address) to an actual purchase, sorry.

If neither of the two e-mail addresses got you an answer from the download form, none of it is in the license database. There also is noone with your name (derived from your G-Mail address) in the license database unfortunately.

If you remember when you bought vorpX, please let me know. I will then check the actual purchase data of our e-Commerce service MyCommerce whether there was a purchase with your name/mail-address in that timeframe to exclude the (slim) chance of an error in the license database.

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could help. I have previously purchased vorpx but no longer have the download link or any keys or anything. I have filled in the form requesting the link twice now and have also emailed [removed] but I’m just not getting any response either way.

Does anyone know if there is an issue with support right now or is anyone else having the same issue?

Hi,

I purchased vorpx Feb 19th. I received my initial confirmation email from animation labs. I downloaded / installed vorpx and sent an email with my request code as described in the instructions.

Shortly after I received an activation reminder email reminding me to send my request code, but I’ve since not received any other emails from vorpx.

I had initially thought it might have been an issue as I sent my email from a different email address than my paypal is linked to, but included my order id# as proof of purchase.

I’ve resent at least 3 emails from my origial paypal linked email address now with my request code and details, but have not received any reply at all.

Now in signing up to this forum I discovered something very strange. I didn’t receive the confirmation / activation email from wordpress. I tried resetting my password, same thing no email. I waited a day and tried signing up again under another name, same thing no email. I then immediately after tried signing up using an old gmail address I rarely use anymore and it worked.

So I’ve come to the conclusion that there is an issue between my email server and emails coming from vorpx. I’ve disabled all spam control, any geo blocking, filtering, etc and stil no luck. I’ve checked the logs and there are no logged attempts of incoming emails from vorpx, so I can only come to the conclusion that it’s being blocked / dropped by my ISP or an internet router somewhere.

Long story short, can you please send me my activation code to my gmail address.

You can cross reference this order id and reference code to my original activation request email I sent to confirm my payment. Please help. Or message me if you need to know the paypal associated email I purchased from (didn’t want to post that publicly)

Please check your spam folder. If you can’t receive mails from us for some reason, please provide me with an alternative e-mail address (ideally one using a common provider like Gmail)

There was a problem with downloading the file with web installer
because the download link is still in black list of the Kaspersky Internet Security

I had to open the WebSetup on Linux (my sandbox) with Wine and then I copied the downloaded file to my PC and then everything was fine

so guys … add the vorpx.com website to trusted websites to avoid situations like this
“If” there is a virus your AV software will catch it after it has been downloaded anyway, so don’t worry, add the vorpx.com website to trusted websites

There is now a script for unlocking the FOV. Download and install Cheat Engine.

To recap, download and install Cheat Engine, then download that script, run RE7, then alt+tab, run CE, on CE, click on the computer icon under “File”, choose re7 from the list and click on open. Then, on windows explorer, find the script file and drag it to CE. Check the box down on the left and then click on the value area on the right and put down the FOV you want.

Hi Guys, Alien Isolation I can see is awesome, took some tweaking with the settings but I now have it running on 3 monitors 5860×1080.
Here is what I did;
Downloaded the following files,

from the above steam link, make a copy of the original file.

In the local files in Vorpx (v17.1.2) configuration choose AI from the local files and apply it.
Start AI via desktop or steam, it may crash first time but run it again.
In the game settings I have FOV=90.
Then in the game press del (Vorpx menu) and set the following;

Main Settings
————-
3D reconstruction = Geometry
Seperation (3D strength) = 5.00 (set yours accordingly)
3D FOV enhancement = 1.50

Head Tracking Settings
———————-
HT Sensitivity = 1.00
HT Pos. Tracking Strength = 1.00

Mouse/Gamepad Settings
———————-
Disable Mouse Acceleration = Yes
Override xbox gamepad = Partial
Override Left Thumbstick = On
Override Right Thumbstick = On
Left Stick X Sensitivity = 0.20
Left Stick Y Sensitivity = 0.20
Left Stick Deadzone = 0.15
Right Stick X Sensitivity = 0.30
Right Stick Y Sensitivity = 0.30
Right Stick Deadzone = 0.00

My machine spec is i7 6700k 4Ghz, 32Gb ram, 480 Corsair ram, GTX1060 oc, GA-Z170X Gaming 3 motherboard, liquid cooled.
All settings on ultra.

Don’t forget that you may have to tweak them depending on your machine.

With regards to the scanner being off the screen that boils down to the written software, so you need to use edge peek.
