ParticipantGood stuff. Are you withholding the new profiles reveal until release date?

ParticipantLooking forward to a good profile for this too!

ParticipantI think you charred a few of those bridges to the very people who were trying.
But yeah generally there are some pretty great folks on here. (Including Ogrescar who you may remember)Mar 6, 2021 at 7:11pm in reply to: What playing games in immersive mode on that big screen did for me #200981dborosev
Participantit can do a lot more
Careful Ralf! … ;)

ParticipantThen you didn’t read the whole thread.

ParticipantI think ToxicMike is pretty clearly saying he is living in his own constructed world of gaming (which is fine) and doesn’t want any help at the moment learning the actual use of the software he bought.
Check back here, ToxicMike, when you are ready to use VorpX the intended way. No shortage of people ready to help you use the software, as you can see. :)To a lot of people, this is like someone buying a hat, then putting it on their foot and wearing it like a shoe and saying they are enjoying it just fine the way it is. Thats cool, everyone has their things. You keep on doing you. But you have to expect some “wtf” looks from the head-wearing hat people on the streets trying to help you. :)

ParticipantI’m so confused. I have no idea how you are using VorpX, but it doesn’t sound right. You can get a lot more out of it.

ParticipantI can’t tell if I’m being mega-trolled or not.
Yeah… you really need to turn on Z3D or G3D, but they should be set up automatically by most game profiles already, so not sure why you haven’t seen any 3D.

Participantit’s quite clunky and could really use some “facelift”.
Its still going to be a clunky 15 year old game, its just going to be clunky in 4k now.
That said, I’ve been wanting to reply it again anyways, so I might do so. But I don’t think some lens flares and better textures are going to do as much as you think. Its not like they’re remodeling the environments.

Participant@ToxicMike,
It almost sounds like your games are flat on the screen? Are you sure you have 3D enabled for your games? Its not like a flat screen at all. Its just a boxed in view of a VR world in full 3D. Its not a “2d screen” at all. I certainly feel like I’m “inside the game”. Thats the whole point.Feb 27, 2021 at 4:48pm in reply to: What playing games in immersive mode on that big screen did for me #200792dborosev
Participant@steph12, I’m half way through Valhalla. Until VorpX supports it, I’ve been using depth3D and virtual desktop. It works very well. (But you can use VorpX desktop viewer too)
Its amazing, one of the best games I’ve played for sure.Feb 26, 2021 at 10:33pm in reply to: What playing games in immersive mode on that big screen did for me #200770dborosev
ParticipantSince its fully 3D, I think of it more like looking through a window into a VR world. I don’t really think of it as a “screen” since it fill my whole FOV, and looks 3D.

Participant100% with you.
One day VR will be massive, but for now, I love playing in immersive/cinema modes.
I could never go back.dborosev
ParticipantYeah, mass effect is without a doubt my favorite franchise of all time, but this is nothing but a cash grab unfortunately. They screwed up Andromeda, and left a massive decade-big hole in the greatest game series of all. And they know it. Now, with nothing to show but their d!cks in their hands, they have to “remaster” 15 year old games because thats all they can do for now. Sad. They could have done so much more.
I haven’t seen anything screenshot wise yet that looks much different. Some touch ups here or there, but certainly not re-buy worthy.
(Playing old games in ***4K***, is just seeing an old ass game at higher resolution. No thanks.) -
