edoParticipant
I have that too. Not unplayble but annoying. tried various settings and still get it after a while. Not at first but after 5 10 minutes.
edoParticipantDitto on appreciation. With this new release I am overwhelmed with great AAA quality VR games to play. I am currently occupied using Vorpx on Enderal mod for Skyrim but will now have to hurry up and finish that in a couple hundred hours so i can start on all these others. Good thing I am retired.
And they complain over on the Oculus and Vive boards how there aren’t any available AAA quality VR games while ignorantly complaining about Vorpx being hard to use?. I’ll never understand it.
Please don’t make Mass Effect Andromeda Vorpx compatible for at least a while or I will be a few hundred more hours behind !
Thanks Ralph!
edoParticipantHas anyone tried the Manual Transmission & Steering Wheel Support mod with VR? Just wondering and thinking about trying GTA again? I despise the controller for driving and the previous method for getting steering wheels to work was pretty complicated.
edoParticipantSorry I mean Furious. thanks for the profile. above questions directed to you. Have to give credit where credit is due…lol
edoParticipantThanks for the profile dborosev. I tried it and it seems to work sort of. I am not getting any 3-d effect however. in any mode. In z buffer the telltale ghost shadows on the player are not there indicating totaly 2d. If you are getting 3-d I would like to know so i can experiment. The game also seems fairly unstable with colors going all pink every now and then.
edoParticipantDefinitely would like to see that as an option.
edoParticipantWow, great job Ralph. Just tried Skyrim with the Vive controllers. Makes it easy to play standing up and that makes the immersion amazing. The direct Vr auto setup seems to do a great job setting the fov so that conversation boxes are visible. The fact you can look around during convos is neat as well. All in all once i figure out a few key mappings I am sure it will be one of the best Vr experiences around. I cant wait to try Fallout.
Nice New Years present. Happy New Year to you!!
edoParticipantWoops I should have said ‘quick response’ rather than update. I don’t want to stampede all your users into looking for a new Voprx update.
But now that I am thinking about it why have we lost the ability to make any brightness adjustments with VR games? Is that something that can be restored. it was nice with monitors to be able to adjust brightness.
edoParticipantthanks Ralph for the quick update on this. It was driving me crazy and avoided a major search and reinstall effort.
edoParticipantI have been playing stereo 3d games for 20 years and I recognize it when I see it. Try turning up the 3d setting in vorpx to around 2.0. No it will not allow extreme toyfication 3d and yes it is z buffer but it is stereo 3d. Your welcome.
edoParticipantI agree… just tried this and it works great. BF1 in vorpx is pretty amazing!
edoParticipantUnless I have missed something GTAV-R HUD doesn’t seem to be working for me. Maybe since the last patch? Anyway the map is far off on the right. cant see it. Some other hud changes seem to have taken but the map is still a no show when I use GTAV-R HUD. I think I installed it right as it used to work for me several versions ago.
edoParticipantOk I have searched for your hud mod yaglourt. Can not find it on https://www.gta5-mods.com. What is it called?
edoParticipantIt may be the 45 to 89 fps thing but I find the Vive works much better for Skyrim. I think my FPS is pretty low on that but with the Vive it is smooth enough to enjoy. With the cv1 it is all jittery. It is also clearer for some reason even though I think I have all the Vorpx settings the same.
Wondering if anyone else notices the same?
edoParticipantYep amazing job Ralph.. I don’t know why you aren’t exec vp of Vive or Occulus. You have done more in my opinion to make Vr successful by making aaa rated games playable than anyone else has done with a million demos. Demos are fun for a while but you can only try so many demos!
Anyway I have tried Grand Theft Auto, Skyrim and Fallout 4.. All work perfectly in the short time I was testing.
I’d pay twice what you are charging for VR in those three games alone.
