JariloParticipant
^ Yea what he said. It really is best 40 I ever spent, I actually think it’s stupid cheap. If you know what you are doing you will enjoy multiple titles on and on. I’d rather not say what I would be willing to pay for it, probably around $199 to be honest. I’ve already finished 5 games.
JariloParticipantThanks, those are good things to know. Appreciate it.
JariloParticipantIt works now after manually in the settings turning off a DX10 option about something. I guess it prevents the dx9 unless that’s off. I wonder if the Remastered version of this game is better for VorpX.
JariloParticipantThanks Ralf, I checked that with no luck. It was on. Tried a different mouse as well but no luck. I made a very short clip where I steadied the headset still and you can see what the image/game is doing very well. All my games in VorpX do this. The headset was not moving at all and the dead-zone just won’t stay centered.

I did do this fix to F.E.A.R prior to playing it, because it fixes lag caused by Logitech devices. It does do some things with DLL and directinput files apparently.

But I was sure I removed it all too try yesterday.
JariloParticipantThanks Ralf for the response, I wish it was that simple though. I’ve rebooted, reinstalled VorpX entirely even (sorry for sending another key request with out need) , reset all game profiles, re-installed the game, went forward and back on SteamVR to SteamVR beta. I’m going to describe the best I can, when I don’t move my head it’s most noticeable. The entire screen slightly has a constant shake every second or so like a pulse. It happens when setting the Head Tracking Multiplier up, and goes away completely only when it is at zero. It happened after I imported a custom FEAR profile (which I played through on VorpX just fine w/out this issue) to FEAR extraction point and now all games do it. I’m starting to think something happened to the Logitech mouse and it is doing something to the dpi or head tracking. I’ve lowered the sensitivity to no affect. When I get home I plan to continue trouble shooting by first trying FEAR again the original and also trying a different mouse, but same thing happens with the xbox gamepad. It’s really hard to tell if it’s the entire image that jitters like that or the head-movement. Thanks.
JariloParticipantI’ve spent a little time trouble-shooting earlier and it feels like the Head tracking has a hard time staying still on a dead-zone or finding one. Either that or the mouse is interfering, I’m not sure what is going on. I’m not sure anyone can help me, but if not I’m going to re-install VorpX entirely when I get back, can’t think of anything else. I was really enjoying VorpX, best purchase I’ve made in a long time so I hope I can solve this and don’t mean to be a bother on here.
JariloParticipantI have disabled Head Tracking entirely and it’s like the image has a small heart beat like stutter.
JariloParticipantThat’s kind of wild that I just read this as I play most of the fps games at -1.00 screen distance in cinematic mode and can’t imagine it not being there yet only a couple days before I got it… it was added? damn.
JariloParticipantThanks Ralf, I am already doing those things. I was just confirming that it is having no impact. Appreciate it much.
JariloParticipantI was hesitant at first too but after my purchase I really enjoy it but I kind of logically understood what I was getting. In-fact, I see it now as an amazing tool/software for a VR enthusiast that supplements the Native VR collection. I can only speak for myself though, I will finish more than 1 game using VorpX for sure and individual games are typically more expensive than $40 so to me it’s money well spent. Good luck and take care.
/JariloJariloParticipantI will be giving Watch Dogs a shot in VR soon.
JariloParticipantNice :) I can’t believe how much I’m enjoying VorpX
