Thanks for your response. I use vorpx mainly for DX9 game, DX11/12 and others pcvr game like Elite dangerous, Half-Life Alyx etc…
Right know i run my Reverb G2 with 3080 FE 10gb paired with i5 9600. My CPU frame times are really high in game like Elite Dangerous.
In the few VR benchmarks i saw it seems that the 7800X3D will be a really good improvement to reduce frames time cause of the 3d-V cash.
I upgrade my rig cause i want to fully use my G2 at 90fps native resolution (or at least try to approach that). I have an opportunity to buy a 7800X3D for a little less than 300 euros.

Maybe someone using Vorpx and PCVR game with that processor can enlight me?

Any chance you have DLSS or DLAA on? They trigger the black right eye, only FXAA and TAA works.

Hello, thanks for your work. I will try it if you find a way to share this profile. I have a question for WMR HMD users reading this post: Can you hook ESO with OpenXR runtime?

@mr_spongeworthy. I am trying to buy fpsvr with no success so far, i am stuck at “ongoing treatment” no matter what i do. I will open a ticket soon to ask why.

    @Minabe
. I am not planning to upgrade my entire setup until one or two years. I thought maybe i could gain 10-20 fps by upgrading my cpu to a better one from the same gen (9th). I can have a good price for second hand 9600k or 9700k.
GPU price are really crazy right now so i don’t want to buy a RTX 3000 series, i prefer to wait for the next gen.
Basically i have two options left, upgrade my cpu with a better one from 9th gen and upgrade my ram up to 32GB. But if i can’t get 10-20 more fps (in my hmd) by changing my cpu+ram there is no point to do it.

I forgot to mention the power supply: be quiet pure power 11 600w.

    Hey,

I had the same issue, it was the DLSS/DLAA. Switching to TAA or FXAA solved it. Maybe someone knows why DLSS and DLAA don’t work with VorpX?
I am trying to run elder scroll online with openXR with no success so far. I wonder if others Vorpx users can run it with openXR api instead of steamVR?

Hello, i am currently running elder scroll online with steam VR because it can’t hook with openXR. I have an error with openXR:

    “OpenXR session init failed

This is a severe error. Make sure that OpenXR is working correctly on your pc or switch to a different vr api in the vorpx config app.”

I did not have that issue before. In October 2021 openXR was working fine with Vorpx. I have really poor performance with steamVR api but i don’t experience any graphic glitches / bugs / texture errors.
Maybe you can try to reinstall Vorpx, windows mixed reality and Nvidia drivers?

My specs: Acer AH101, Nvidia RTX 2070s.

I have the same issue when i try to launch ESO with openXR: “OpenXR session init failed”. I tried to reinstall mixed reality portal many times and i still have this error.
I was able to launch it with openXR a few months ago. Now the only way to launch the game is switching Vorpx to SteamVR.
Someone found a way to fix this?

@RuinerD Yes i am using a WMR headset (acer AH101).

@Ralf Thanks it worked. I also have headset fps drop under 90, i noticed that it goes back to 90fps when i switch between fidelityfx options. This option is a really nice improvement for Eso.
