Great stuff Ralf, can´t wait for Vorpx superduperfsrdlss! Thank you for taking the time to implement this feature.

Would be a good profile but at least for me the weapon/hand models are separated way too much and makes the whole experience bad. I tried quickly to go through the shaders to either reduce the 3D effect or hide the gun completely but didn´t find a solution yet.

Any other people tried playing T-Resistance with vorpx?

Thanks, I managed to get the game running now with different name, so there is no conflicting .exes anymore. Never heard about this tool before, seems handy.

Is there a workaround for conflicting .exe files? I can´t delete the Dead or Alive profile or remove the process .exe from it because its a default profile. Also I can´t change the other games .exe file because it won´t launch anymore and causes other issues with steam?

Really think the advice regarding EGS games should be more prominent somewhere.

Well its just a general thing to check when running a game from a another store that the .exe is the same name. I don´t have any idea why different stores might use different .exe files since the game is otherwise identical. Demo versions also might have different names than the base game.

    From vorpx configuration
    1. Local Profiles (3rd tab on the list)
    2. Search for death stranding and select it
    3. Create new profile based on this one
    4. Add the .exe file either by searching from the the install folder or you can launch the game first and the add the running process.

Im also suggesting checking some vorpx tutorials on youtube to get a better understanding of the features. For example https://youtu.be/6GaYtqg9-tA

Epic game store version uses different .exe so you need to make a copy of the default Death Stranding profile (in vorpx) and add the deathstranding.exe to it.

What headset are you using? I had some trouble getting it to work initially but it should work. Maybe test some other “easier” to hook games first before Death Stranding. Also make sure you have the correct headset/runtime selected in vorpx menu.

Death Stranding works now with openxr, most likely the issue was with dated Radeon software/driver. Still couldn´t get Control to hook but I have to try that later again.

Thanks could be only problem on my end too, since there are other games I have problem getting hooked like Control didn´t work for me in steamvr or openxr.

But performance wasn´t that bad with steamvr on Death Stranding so I will use that mode for now.

So this works only in steamvr mode and not in openxr?
Also for the next update can you add Deathstranding.exe to the process list, since the egs version uses that instead of ds.exe.

Thanks rishp, I tried playing around with it but can´t get the proper 3D format out of it.
    https://www.svp-team.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=4163
I tried these steps but none of the 3d output options produce over/under or sbs video for vorpx?

Also if I run mpc-be with vorpx svp doesn´t hook to the video? But if I understand you correctly you don´t need SVP for the 3D, only for framerate conversion?

Also in the process, I managed somehow to mess up my vorpx configuration file so I need to install it again. :p

Free option for converting frame packed MKV´s to SBS videos.

This isn´t a quick conversion and a fast processor helps, and if you have the settings dialed down you only need to do it once.

I tried to play around with the demo version with limited success. I can get it to hook but no 3D depth in any mode (geometry has also some issues).

Time to watch some real world F1 now but I´ll take a look later if I can get it to run properly. The game is also limited to 36fps I don´t know if this can be bypassed somehow, its a long time since I last booted up GPL. ;)

    Yes.
Thanks for looking in to it. I know this is a niche within a niche, so not many people will even need this feature but if it is an “easy” feature to add then that is one more checkbox for vorpx features.

In the meantime im trying currently another app called dvdfab that can output sbs video from 3d-blurays. Not a free program and actually quite expensive but the trial version lets you rip 3 discs for free so for fun Im trying this out.
