I don’t see any problems there, with the vorpx support of the Quest Pro.

First person games with G3D support. Everything else is a matter of taste. The xbox controller support is perfect in the most profiles, but if you are searching for games with full motion controller support, you have to wait for the next vorpx release.

You will be not be able to get the documentation to create dx12 profiles or dx11 G3D profiles from the scratch, that is the company secret of vorpx.

But you can fork existing profiles and ask Ralf for additional pages of the vorpx in-game menu to edit your profile. You can also use the shader authoring gui, to deactivate particular shadows for example, or other graphic effects. The shader authoring gui is not as complicated as it looks like.

    It’s learning by doing !

If Uncharted and A Plague Tale: Requiem will be released next week, many old vorpx user will come back to the forum. In my opinion many user are reading the forum time to time, but are waiting for blockbuster releases.

When i click on *Good Full VR Games for Beginners*…

Have a look to the answer:

Good Full VR Games for Beginners

Ralf is a workaholic, in my opinion he decided to develop new vorpx features instead to read the forum.

My search function is only working, if i’m logged in !

Maybe it’s clever to release no updates at the moment, because of the warnings by Publishers and Studios send to competitors in the modding scene ! Vorpx should be unobtrusive in these times. In addition to that there weren’t so much new game releases in 2022 less than in 2021 or 2020. In my opinion it’s time to work on the big things, in the quiet !

Deus Ex from year 2000 ? In my opinion you should wait for a Reboot of the Franchise and play a full Remake in the Unreal Engine 5 or something else.

But you can try a PS2 Emu via vorpx, if the vorpx profile is not working !

I played Mankind Divided and Human Revolution and it was awesome !

Vorpx supports FullVR in a First Person View, and not on a cinema screen !
You can play in G3D, which means that it is geometric 3D, and that means that “the NPCs are living” an you feel that you are really part of the world of the game.

What are your Hardware Specs ? GPU, CPU and Headset ?

Will this release include the new achievements of the Cyberpunk VR Mod, for example the fluid sync 66% and 75% settings ?

And will this release have improvements in the support of the Reverb G2, which are introduced in the Cyberpunk VR Mod ?

And will this release have new profiles ?

Or even a new big VR Mod, which will show the Motion Controller Gestures par excellence ?

The Nativ VR Scene will love that, and Vorpx will get many new user.

The next step to beat up “the new miracle vr mod devs”, is a feature to support Alternate Frame Geometry 3D in user profiles in the shader authoring tool.

After that we need the last step, which could be the “First Person” or “nearly First Person” Mods option in all Third Person games. (like cheatengine does it !)

After that all competing vr mods are obsolete !!!

    I’m Team Vorpx !

But in the future we need DX12 G3D too, and a first step could be to develop it for the unreal engine 4+5 only !

    New Profiles ???

If you have a PS5 and a 4K capture card, then you will be able to play it on a “cinema screen” (without 3D, but in 4K) via vorpx on your headset.

You can even use the “ps5 remote play pc app” without a expensive capture card, but this app supports 1080p only, and that is very blurry.

if you want casual mobile VR games, just buy a quest, if you want PC-VR in high end quality, just buy a Reverb G2 Rev. 2 !
