lipplogParticipantyou guys are talking about old skyrim….. i guess.
I nodded the special edition as well, but unfortunately there are too many essential mods that don’t work with SSE, like no camera sway, and first person kill cam.
lipplogParticipantI think they understood you were asking IF it would work with MO, not that you tried and it wouldn’t work. But yes, the d3d9.dll file is how VorpX hooks onto the screen image. That’s why you can’t use it with other apps that do the same, like Fraps, or ENBboost. There is a way to install ENBBoost without the d3d9.dll though.
lipplogParticipantI remember the “I can’t believe it’s not ENB” mod working with original Skyrim. I’ll have to look for an SE version.
lipplogParticipantAh. So no ENB with VorpX at all, huh?
lipplogParticipantHi guys,
Has anyone tried ENB with Skyrim Special Edition? Since the memory fix isn’t necessary in SE, I was wondering how that changes the ENB set up.
lipplogParticipantSo the perspective is normal then? No distortion around the edges?
lipplogParticipantOh. I just assume we did. Have you tried it without the mod?
lipplogParticipantHave you tried emailing the mod developer? He’s actually not bad about responding to tech issues. Give him a try. His email is on his site.
lipplogParticipantAnti-aliasing is a problem.. if I turn on MSAA the performance drop considerably. What are you using guys? Just FXAA?
Isn’t Anti-Aliasing incompatible with VR?

lipplogParticipantI’m using an Omni treadmill, so I’m not moving anywhere beyond the treadmill ring. But I still get bad noclipping if I come too close to a wall.
lipplogParticipantCool. I’m glad to hear DirectVR will eventually be added. Because unfortunately I can’t use the official VR version with my Virtuix Omni treadmill, as the developers removed keyboard controls for some unnecessary reason.
lipplogParticipantIf a resolution doesn’t appear, try changing the aspect ratio to Normal. If they still don’t appear, do this…
lipplogParticipantFlickering happens when you use anything other than a 4:3 aspect ration resolution. Make sure you set the game in any of the following res:
4:3 aspect ratio resolutions: 640×480, 800×600, 960×720, 1024×768, 1280×960, 1400×1050, 1440×1080 , 1600×1200, 1856×1392, 1920×1440, and 2048×1536
lipplogParticipantOh cool! Thanks for letting me know!
lipplogParticipantOkay, I’ve figured it out, for anyone else confused as to how to choose different weapons using a Vive controller.
To scroll through your weapon inventory squeeze the left hand grip buttons and press down on the left trackpad. When you’re on the weapon you want to switch to, release the grip buttons and pull the right controller trigger. Make sure you release the grip buttons BEFORE you pull the trigger or it won’t work. If you wait too long the weapon overlay will disappear and you have to do it again. But once you know, it works great.
