In the vorpX config app, on the ‘General’ page. The option is called ‘Device Selection’. Both ‘Oculus’ and ‘OpenXR’ work with Link/AirLink.

If you want to use OpenXR, you have to make sure that Oculus is your system’s OpenXR runtime. You can do that in the Oculus PC app.

RAlf you can post the link of file.zip openxr.zip on your site?

The Praydog release seems decent for an alpha.. but yeah, that requires a MASSIVE system to run currently.. my 2080/reverb g2 requires some loooooow settings to run decent.. glad to see people enthusiastic about the scene though.. ralf is a god, praydog is a demigod

i love vorpx. it was a real revolution for me, it made me play wonderful games in vr. Vorpx is a software, its development cannot be compared to a Mod. Having said that, we really need to congratulate Praydog, the Mods for the various Resident evil are fantastic !!!!! Playing Re8 with motion controllers is very cool. In my case, I have an Oculus Quest 2 and an Rtx3060ti and the game runs great, smooth and with great performance at 2340×2320 resolution at high settings. With Vorpx, on the other hand, after a few minutes the game has an absurd frame drop that I have never been able to solve and I have to keep the settings very low.

as i said, i uninstalled and reinstalled the mod. i uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but i still have both the problem of not headtracking and the problem of not being able to enter full vr. the screen always sits there as an immersive screen. with my gpu 3060ti setting nicer in the vorpx menu, I have 70/80 fps in game and 120 on the viewer, it’s just fine.

After several installs and uninstalls I still have 2 problems. I can’t look around and headtrack aim. I have great difficulty getting into fullvr mode. although the edge peek button works it does not switch me to the fullvr screen. In order to work I have to switch several times from immersive screen to fullvr and after many times it works. This problem is being encountered by more people. otherwise the mod is perfect, excellent smoothness and cleaning performance. Objectively though, I find it far better to play it with vorpx and its profile. I have no problem and objectively in visual terms nothing changes. I hope that this stand alone mod will encourage you to buy the program, which for me remains an indispensable tool for those who want to play in vr!
