MarcoParticipant
Yes i think the same. But Ralf shoud provide better documentation about how each “supported” game performs. It would be better for everybody, especially for the players so that they can pick their games amongst the best supported ones and know in advance if there’s any issue or limitations with the other. So nobody would be disappointend wasting time or money. My opinion is Vorpx works GREAT witha good number of games and “not so great” with many others. I think the “great” ones should clearly stand out from the others, also in terms of set up hints. Also, it should be made clear that to “match” native VR, a VR-Ready hardware is mandatory.
MarcoParticipantIf you own a Pascal graphic card and Vive or Cv1 i warmly reccomend the resolution 1920 x 1440 over the one suggested by Vorpx utility. Supersampled resolution will give a very sharp image and prevent the washed out effect. If you don’t own a last generation graphic card then it’s hard to achieve such performance with 90fps, if not impossible.
MarcoParticipantDid anybody try these games?
MarcoParticipantI agree, it works like a charm if you only play in Virtual Cinema mode..
I don’t ;)
MarcoParticipantI agree it works like a charm, especially with Pascal. I am getting 90FPS with detail on medium or high, Geometry, and super sampled resolution. Head tracking and positional tracking on. I am talking about the best Vorpx games like Dishonored, Shadow Warrior, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Bioshock Infinite, Outlast, Dead Space 3. To me, they run about perfect now apart from minor glitches. To be honest i also like Z3D in games like Alan Wake, but of course Geometry is the best mode because of the positional tracking. I suggest to further improve the interface of the software and the documentation about each option to make it just a bit more user friendly.

MarcoParticipantI confirm Metal Gear Rising works great in Z-Buffer mode by using Borderlands 2 profile, and head tracking. It totally worth it, this game should be on the supported games list.
I hope compatibility will be increased by adding Geometry support.
MarcoParticipantIt’s a fantastic piece of software, just need to know how configure it and use it with the games offering best compatibility, which is a fair amount. It take practice but i would say it works great.

I think ACM it’s a very good VR game as it is. Always go for vanilla version with Vorpx, unless u r sure a mod doesn’t cause conflicts.
MarcoParticipantI have Vive now but i was running all these games on Dk2 before. They look much better on Vive but Dk2 is also enjoyable.
Amgonst the call of duty games i only own COD: Ghosts. I took a bit to configure it properly but was running well at the end. Very “immersive” but i think it supports only Zbuffer 3d, which means better performance but no positional tracking. I want to play Black Ops 3 in the future; i hope it’s goonna run with Geometry 3d but i am not sure. In any case if is going to work the same as Ghosts it definitely whorts a run.
MarcoParticipantSure, dude, it’s been a month and a half or so since the release. Works fine on my Vive and Gtx 970.
MarcoParticipantOk! just want to say i do have Vive, not the Rift.
MarcoParticipantprosiontal=positional :))) Sorry from the awful writings above, i hope the message is clear.
MarcoParticipantI think i did something stupid, i hope it will run one day.
MarcoParticipantAlso Bioshock Infinite!!
