ParotakuParticipantQuickly tried to create profiles for ‘Somerville’ & ‘Planet of Lana’ using the one for ‘Inside’, but no luck this time: the first has shifted lighting problems and the second has a shifted camera angle but no depth… :-/
ParotakuParticipantNo problem, nice that you had a look at it.
ParotakuParticipantHey, no problem…
Try to fix it if you want and when you want… there’s absolutely no obligation… remember, VorpX is a hobby for all of us so, no pressure needed!
It’s already very nice that you managed to make Geometry 3D work with this game!! ^^
ParotakuParticipantHere’s my savegame with all chapters completed… If you choose ‘Continue’, you should be at one point in chapter 2 where the lighting bug is present: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hzef06fdu8pto5o/SLOT00.zip?dl=0
I tried to desactivate some postprocessing effects in the game’s config file to see if it had an influence on it, but no success…
Please, tell me when you got the savegame file so I remove it…
ParotakuParticipantI uploaded a SBS video from it and I credited you (if you want a link on one of your pages, just tell me) : https://youtu.be/4Bf-IkAo9sc
There’s a problem with the lighting giving a white render on the right eye on chapter 2, you can see it @53m40, but as you can see, when it works it looks very good!
ParotakuParticipantNever mind, it was (again) a problem with Win7 behaving differently than Win10…
I tried on Win10 and it’s working!!Thanks a lot for your work, it looks very good!
ParotakuParticipantYour Cloud profile is ‘A Plague Tale Innocence (G3D) [rjkole]’, right?
Because, each time I download and apply it, the game renders only the left eye… the right one stays black.
ParotakuParticipantAlso, if somebody wants to try to find a working profile for episode 2 (which seems to use a more recent version of Unity), the executable is available here: https://blogs.unity3d.com/es/2018/04/11/assets-from-adam-episode-2-and-3-now-available-for-creators-to-explore-on-the-unity-asset-store/
ParotakuParticipantYes, there is depth… it varies depending on the scene (maybe there are some rendering ‘tricks’ used in some scenes to avoid some heavy load on the GPU) but, for instance, on the shot where the 2 robots are approaching from far away, you can clearly see the grass is on the foreground and the robots in the background…
Also, Adam the main robot is often displayed on the foreground…Again, it’s just a test I’ve made and I decided to share it… I used the profile from ‘Inside’ as a base as it uses Unity too, but if you find a profile that gives better results, feel free to share!;)
ParotakuParticipant‘A plague tale’ visuals should be beautiful in real 3D…
…well, if you don’t have murophobia…^^
ParotakuParticipantThanks for this very nice bonus feature Ralf (and Grocs!), it’s very useful for people like me who get sick very quickly when playing FPS in VR.
I’m doing some SBS videos using it; I hope it’ll get you more gamers interested in VorpX & buying it! ^^
ParotakuParticipantActually, there is a hidden native anaglyph 3D mode in the game: https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Limbo#VR_support
So it’s very cool that you managed to enable it in VorpX without the Red/Cyan filter!
ParotakuParticipantAdded a custom profile for Unravel 2.
Real geometry 3D is detected but it seems very demanding for my poor GTX-960…
I hope other users will have better results. ;-)
ParotakuParticipantWow, thanks a lot for your work on Bayonetta & Unravel, Ralf!
Unravel was a beautiful game before but in real geometry 3D, it looks amazing! The environnements, water, snow… everything looks so real!!
ParotakuParticipantSent. ;)
Factory reset didn’t change anything but manually re-installing DotNet framework 4.6.2 fixed the error.
Thanks Ralf! -
