    Hey Ralf,
I was wondering if Nvidia and their latest driver had something to do with it as I am now having problems getting any game to hook into Vorpx? I am still on Runtime 7, is runtime 8 all working as it should now with Vorpx as I might try that instead?

    Thanks again

I ordered the CV1 yesterday, I was on the ball at 4pm but took about 15 mins or so to finish what with all the traffic. So I think or hope I should be among the first.

I will be keeping my Dk2 though until I have the CV1 in my hands lol.
Must admit I am going to go for the Vive also as they both have great options.
I does make me laugh what with all this grunting about the price. Yes it’s not cheap but why people expect a company to give it away beats me. People happily spend $600 on a phone that they use to take selfies.
I knew it was coming out so I have been saving in a pot for 1 year.

Anyway thanks Ralf and I look forward to playing more games on future tech with Vorpx..

    @sleepings
    “Waste of money, unprofessional company.”

Really annoys me when someone comes on here and totally puts down a product that has been an amazing piece of software for many of us for quiet a while now.
If you saw post upon post saying the same thing you could argue this, but you don’t.
Instead of just calling it crap try asking for help as it’s possibly something you have done wrong or your pc setup.

either way it’s a very unfair assessment and not helpful..

Or we get it when he stated and you ask nicely for a Fallout 4 profile later ;-)

“Do you feel like the Oculus benefits these games or is it more of a hassle than it’s worth?”

For some games I would most certainly say Yes, the Oculus benefits and is an awesome tool to enhance some games and I would not be without it.
Vorpx is the best software for non Vr developed games.

Awesome news Ralf, really looking forward to it.
I have already bought two licences of Vorpx to say thanks for previous work, I might even buy another after this next patch.

can I just ask, are you definitely going to continue to support the Rift after it’s release with its ongoing Oculus runtimes or will the Vorpx main Full release be it’s final?

Playing some OpenGL games would be awesome, I do personally however only play games that work in 3d mode, so getting this to work would be such a benefit to Vorpx.

    Look forward to the Updates.

You pretty much answered your own question at the end I would say….

As always I would imagine it’s done when it’s done, if it were to have a specific release date it would of been mentioned on the announcement with a date. Be patient :-)

Ok, what’s stopping you from buying Vorpx?.
You obviously have a Rift, you know what the graphics look like from demo’s. If you like the feel of the Rift and you like the list of games supported, why not get Vorpx?.
It’s Cheaper than going down the pub for one evening.
I’m pretty sure if you can afford a Rift and the pc to use it then it can’t be a money issue ;-)

I understand your concerns. But I would still say if you own a Rift you should own Vorpx if your a gamer.
Can I ask what games you are wanting to play in the Rift?

I have had Vorpx since Ralf released it and I actually bought 2 copies because of his continued support and help with requested game profiles.

It works extremely well with so many games and with the newer virtual cinema mode it’s an absolute steal at the price, less than the price of a good released single game.
In my opinion if you are serious about Virtual reality it’s a MUST BUY for the Oculus rift.
Plenty of Videos of people on YouTube running Vorpx that you can enjoy through your own rift to see and enjoy the experience.
If I liked what I saw I would buy it, If it wasn’t what I thought I would not, YouTube is your friend, try it

    Regards
    Pete
