RJK_Participant
Very nice to see,thanks !
RJK_ParticipantI run FO3 in 4400×3240 on a 1080ti without issues. Just to mention ..
RJK_ParticipantJust a little hint, there are quite some games providing SBS, one i have tested tonight with the SBS VorpX Profile worked right away https://www.vorpx.com/forums/topic/polynormal/ .
You may search for “-gl_stereo” gamelist on Google.RJK_ParticipantNice to see that people still play D1/D2 :-)
@Ralf , have you tested that SBS Profile with dxx-rebirth ?
PS: I also have an SBS OpenGL profile for “Stereo Photo Maker” on the cloud,
which may work with “-gl_stereo” too.
Not shure if its different to “SBS 3D Base [vorpX]”, just wanted to mention it.… could be interesting to test openGl games in general with “-gl_stereo” and those profiles. Some may even support that without having us told ;-)
RJK_ParticipantI’ld suggest first to play 3rd person games. This will make you to get used to VR easier. At least thats the way i went.
RJK_Participantcan you describe what do you mean by framerate limitations ?.
Where did you meet them ?
What exactly causes those limitations and where do you read them ?
Can you give us some values ?
Is this game specific and/or which game are you talking about ?thanks
RJK_ParticipantPlease search for PAC, not for PAC-MAN, this should work.
RJK_Participant3D-wise i’d recommend Kingdoms of Amalur RE-Reckoning.
Level up magic to the max and throw meteorites at your enemies.
This will kick your VR experience into infinity.Promised :-)RJK_ParticipantIf anything fails, you may try the DX11 profiles from this list.https://rjkole.com/gamestuff/engines/index.php?selengine=Special
Each of them is different and has different 3D settings. You may be lucky trying some profiles from here
RJK_ParticipantUnfortunately i dont. May work, may not.
RJK_ParticipantLooks like the cloud has a problem currently. Ill report back here soon as a find out more.
RJK_ParticipantAdditional info:
– When playing Full VR, please gain FOV (ingame settings).
The current profile is optimized for cinema modes at a FOV value ~50. 3D strength need to be re-adjusted when changing FOV.
RJK_ParticipantEverspace 1, supporting Steam VR, has has no need for a VorpX Profile so Everspace 2 may do so as well. To see if thats the case, run Steam VR (vrdashboard.exe or vrmonitor.exe), make a shortcut pointing to the executable of the game and add add -vr at the and of the line. For this of corse VorpX must not be running.
RJK_ParticipantEither use one of the options from here https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Painkiller or use the vorpx FOV enhancement option in the menu.
RJK_ParticipantThe profile has been made for the steam version, but MAY also work with the retail version.
Dont expect too much though 3D wise. Switch beetween z-normal and z-adaptive to see what
suits better for you. -
