ParticipantAre you sure z3d is even on? Some game settings can disable it even in official profiles, settings like AA, its best to set every possible game settiing to minimum, test if z3d has obvious depth feel, if you have to ask yourself if you see depth then most likely its not working, working depth feel is obvious.
After you get it working and set graphics back to good except whatever disables z3d, then you have to set resolution to as higha s you can handle and fov at above 100 degrees, I prefer it around 120, but its overdone in most games at that value.
Resolution and fov are two best ways to make z3d look good, having no antialiasing at all can help too, will preserve small details better.

ParticipantI dont see such profile in official list nor on the cloud, weird that it says that one is already there, maybe it has some kind of weird symbol at the start or something that prevents it from showing with other NFS profiles in the list.
Have you tried to write “porsche” in the search bar? Maybe it will show rogue profile

ParticipantThat is because vorpx uses Script hook to do some of its gta solutions and script hook has built in prevention of online to save people from being banned.
You can disable most of vorpx gta5 features and play z3d with good resolution (personally I prefer it even over real mod) by doing simple renaming of 2 files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Animation Labs\vorpX\Plugins, I will let you figure out which files yourself, its obvious

ParticipantJust to inform you it MUST have been nod32, I exported settings it had, reinstalled nod av, imported settings back and now problem is gone.
I mean its same version with same settings and vorpx didnt update so I assume AV had some corrupt files or something during one of its background updates.

ParticipantMaybe hes usung VD for quest 2 or pimax software that crank brightness/gamma that high?

ParticipantYou need stereo rendering for both eyes so it’d take both legs.

ParticipantImagine if Ralf implements ASCII shader – it’d mask glitches and artifacts even more :P

ParticipantBrain factor is a damn thing that sometimes convinces you there is kinda depth to a game when there is none.
Thats one reason I wish there was depth buffer mode to check if there is any data at all.
There is a toggle to switch 3d on and off, but even with it brain can play tricks.

ParticipantIf it uses DirectX 11 then you wont get anything but z3d

Participantsupersampling does more than just removing aliasing, sharpness comes from details and redering software/hardware is designed to be efficent, to not render more than needed so when you render natively you just dont get details past render resolution. What if there is a needle on a table but its sub pixel size if you render natively, so it might not be visible at all, wile at higher resolution even resized back it would remain as a half transaprent line of pixels indicating its smaller than pixel size.
Furthermore some engines dont render small details past certain distance if it is deemed to not be visible by end user and sometimes its wrong. I had bullet holes disappear on walls much sooner in vr games when playing 100% supersampling and then magically appear if I raise it up.
TL/DR: rendering higher resolution shows more detail and resizin it back to output still preserves all that detail = thats where sharpness comes from, better antialiasing is just a side effect. As for headsets – a review of that Varjo Aero (2880 x 2720 px per eye) pixels cant be seen, so I assume limit will be vorpx screen resolution after that and screen resolution pixel spotting can varry, in full vr for example pixels will be noticeable even if you render at those 2880 x 2720

ParticipantThanks for advice, I have my own reasons to have a setup that I do and not use MS solutions. Nod32 used to give mea headaches with vorpx because disabling protection button wasnt actually disabling some of its scans and preventing vorpx from hooking in the past, I fixed it by finding yet another list of exclusions I had to add vorpx to.
Thing is this error started to show only after vorpx update, while not a single other app had any changes along with system itself, literally nothing changed but vorpx one day.
If you say this error is unknown to you it means its not a vorpx error and since its really more of a little annoyance to me, plus hard to replicate, I guess it doesnt need to be fixed.

ParticipantGame is Unreal Engine 4 so there is a lot of profiles to try and most of them should work, check this site for all possible profiles that might work

ParticipantYes, titanfall for sure, as well as a lot of so called movement shooters (ghostrunner, dying light, etc), feel amazing with 0 headtracking and overdone fov, much speed, no pukes.
As for opposite – full vr mode mirrors edge 1 and 2 work and feel very nice plus you can you vorpx native vr controller support with apps like natural locomotion to have decoupled movement/looking around and armswinger locomotion fits so well to that game.

ParticipantTAA, especially for vr should be a federal crime.

ParticipantThis is that error window if it helps. Im on windows 10 (without latest updates) and it started to only happen after recent update. Error doesnt break anything or mess with vorpx performance so I just ignore it. Tried to disable nod32 with an option it offers, but same error shows regardless. As for admin mode, I try to run vorpx withoput it, but sometimes I need it for specific apps that need to be run as admin too.
