so i just played 6 hours straight in full VR, standing, with positional tracking, i could not stop playing ^^

but i really need index controlers, vive wands trackpad suck so much, died so many times pushing by mistake that directional trackpad -.-

the only glitch i noticed is some flickers on weapons and when moving head right/left, but only if i move some irl (like turning around) if i keep standing and use right wand to look around it’s all good, i guess this had to do with positional tracking, maybe someone knows how to fix that ?

anyway even with that small glitch, it’s incredible, been more than 20 years since i last played hl1, back then i would have never imagined that we’d play that game in VR someday.

i love vorpx, i really do, but native VR games will always be better.

plus you can use mods even with fallout VR, it’s true that you cant use all of them unlike if you play fallout 4 with vorpx but most work just fine.

on official blizzard servers ? yes it works great, i also have 2016 htc vive so like you first gen headset.

you need to first launch wow normally (without vr on) and make sure you are running dx11 (legacy) wow, not dx12.

then the game should hook fine with vorpx.

if things are broken, try to run the game in windowed mode.

let us know how it goes.

    i see.

well, that would be amazing if Ralf could eventually make a ff14 official profile ^^

we already have teso, wow, and with ff14 we would have the 3 main mmorpgs playable with vorpx, that’d be great.

Ralf, if you read this, i salute you :)

no you cant revert to older versions.

did you delete your ff14 profile (based on nier automata) and tried to create a new one ?

for how long your profile has been working correctly with Z3D until it finally stopped working ?

    np ^^

i use fov 120 and i lowered screen distance to 0.5 instead of 0.6 (for this profile), looks great, plays great in z3d ^^

but you better tweak the profile yourself cause my taste is maybe not yours :p

    i forgot to mention.

one base station = seated play only, you cant use room scale.

so ideally for your headset you should buy 2 base stations to enjoy room scale with 6DOF (degrees of freedom).

you need at least one base station for the headset to work.
