Remove any OBSE related data in the game’s save game folder ([Documents]\My Games\Oblivion\Saves). If the problem persists, don’t use OBSE or any mods that rely on it.

This is not a vorpX issue.

No problem. You can get a download link here.

There should also be a “Steam VR” entry in the device list, which is the right one for your Vive. If it is missing, please reinstall vorpX.

The upscale option only works correctly with Geometry 3D, not with Z-Buffer 3D.

Alternatively to using the upscale option you can select a higher resolution on the DirectVR page of the vorpX ingame menu.

Probably an injection conflict with some other program on your PC that also hooks into games or prevents vorpX from doing so.

Typical candidates are overzealous virus scanners, any sort of CPU/GPU utility, chat applications, video recording/streaming software and generally everything that can display notifications in games.

Best way to troubleshoot this is to disable/uninstall programs that are running in the background.

If that does not help, please check the trouble shooting guide in the vorpX help for some additional information.

You need to make sure that the name field and the key look EXACTLY like in the key e-mail.

Use COPY AND PASTE. Do not type anything manually.

I sent you another mail with more detailed instructions.

The resolution in the ini sounds perfectly fine, the launcher doesn’t show it correctly. Your issue is almost certainly is not related to the resolution.

First and foremost make sure to reset the game’s profile to its default values before you continue. You can do that on the trouble shooting page of the vorpX config app.

If you want to try without the resolution auto setting and set a resolution manually instead, you can disable it for troubleshooting purposes in the config app (“Never change any game settings”).

Currently only the original games are supported. The “increased graphics” largely means slightly higher res textures, which you can’t notice in a (relatively low-res) VR headset unless you stand directly in front of a wall, so there isn’t really any noticable advantage compared to the original versions.

This should be addressed in the next vorpX version 18.2.0.

I’m not 100% certain since the issue was semi-random, but I was able to get past a notoriously crashy section in the game more than a dozen times now without a single crash, so it’s very likely fixed.

Feedback welcome after vorpX 18.2.0 is released (no date yet though).

If vorpX still attaches to a program that you put on the exclude list, you did not add the correct .exe to the list. Programs may use a launcher for example and then start another .exe. In a such a case both .exe files have to be added to the list.

Alternatively you can simply pause the vorpX watcher while you do other things (right click menu of the tray icon).

It’s not supposed to be that way. All I can recommend is checking for conflicts with other programs on your PC in case of injection issues, which is the most likely cause of such problems. Typical candidates are: virus scanners, any sort of GPU/CPU tool/utility, video recording/streaming software, chat programs and generally everything that can display notifictations in games. Best way to troubleshoot such things is to disable/uninstall programs that are running the background.

Just in case: also make sure that the GTA launcher is excluded from vorpX. It is per default, so unless you removed it from the exclude list that is already the case. Launchers should never be hooked by vorpX.

Such things can’t always be 100% addressed with Z3D. if a game changes the texture used as a depth buffer while these powers are active, there is no way to track that,

If the issue resurfaces, try to uncheck the “Use built in audio device” checkbox in the vorpX config app.

Might have made sense to store that information, but it isn’t. When you make a copy of a profile, a new id is generated for the copy and there is no way retrieve the old id afterwards.

Havok is ‘just’ a physics engine and unrelated to graphics rendering. It may be used by devs together with any 3d engine. You best bet in regard to games with unknown/inhouse DX9 engines is the Unreal Engine 3 profile.
