    If you reinstalled the mod, you have to copy the latest CET afterwards. Not the other way around.

    Reinstalling the mod should not be necessary though normally. Just updating CET is enough when a CP2077 beaks CET.

    BTW: If you haven’t done so already, please read the instructions in the launch environment after starting the game. Stuff like this gets explained there.

    @ beemzy:

    Works fine here. Double check whether you copied the CET update into the right folder. The ‘bin’ folder in the CET .zip has to be copied directly into your CP 2077 main folder, overwriting the existing one.

    I’ll upload an updated mod installer later today or tomorrow.

    @ fubar

    Either Z3D or G3D with alternate frame rendering.

    CET was in the right place. All my CET-reliant (non-VorpX / conventional) MODs worked, just in a flat screen rather than proper DirectVR. I still got the VorpX starting CP2077 menu but the actual game couldnt be started in DirectVR. A clean reinstall of CP2077 and then CP2077 VorpX mod solved the issue

    Patch 1.63 is out. Should we wait for an update to the standalone VorpX for CP2077? CET is still on v1.62 as well

    Hey… I am having exactly the same problem and people keep suggesting the standalone mode, but this is not only happening with Cyberpunk 2077 but also with games like Battlefront Star Wars… I get a 200% zoom image every time… changing FOV in the game and in VORPX is useless… Because of this games are unplayable… did you find a get around for this, please? People keep suggesting the standalone mod which I used, but Battlefront has no vr mod and seems as zoomed in…

    Encountered the ‘Evelyn at Lizzie’s bar’ glitch too during testing. Just a guess, but after fumbling around a while to get that resolved my final conclusion was that maybe the level designer who scripted the sequence forgot to set some some flag. Essentially the game doesn’t seem to report a player state change after the conversation ends, hence the mod is still in conversation mode while walking to Judy’s room. Fairly weird. When you save/reload later in Judy’s room, the state is reported correctly and thus the mod correctly is in gameplay mode.

    Hi Ralf, Im replaying CP2077. At the very start of The Heist you meet Dexter Deshawn and T-Bug with Jackie at a special privacy room at the Afterlife nightclub. There is a long cut-scene when Dexter goes over the plan. At the end of this sequence the game is supposed to revert to VR mode but stays in the cutscene. You have to leave Afterlife and then save and reload the game in order to get back to VR play mode. Is there any way to not have to do this? Or is it a bug within the game that cant be resolved? Thanks!

    Hi

    – Cyberpunk 2077 (with VR mod, it was the main reason why I bought vorpX), but played maybe 1 hour, because it zooms view and very uncomfortable. Tried change settings but didn’t get good result.

    Try to change 3D reconstruction mode from DirectVR to Z-normal. I have a very bad feeling with DirectVR, but it is really nice with Z-normal (even if 3D is slightly less nice). I don’t play in FullVR mode, but rather in Immersive mode with Mouse/KB/PAD. I use a 4:3 resolution, and ajust the screen zoom to be on the edge of my left/right vision.

    – Fallout 76, same as Cyberpunk 2077;
    I don’t play Fallout 76, but my Fallout 4 setting are similar to Cyberpunk.

    I have not tried other games yet.

    I like VR games and just stereoscopic games (that’s why I bought vorpX). But unfortunatelly, I have a lot of difficulties using vorpX with my Meta Quest 2. Actually, I didn’t play even a single game without problems from the very beginning. Currently, vorpX looks completely useless.
    I tried:
    – Cyberpunk 2077 (with VR mod, it was the main reason why I bought vorpX), but played maybe 1 hour, because it zooms view and very uncomfortable. Tried change settings but didn’t get good result.
    – Fallout 76, same as Cyberpunk 2077;
    – Today I’ve tried Dragon Age: Origins – it crashes immidiatelly.
    I have several games that I want to play in stereoscopic mode (or pseudo VR), but I can’t rid of this feeling: the more games I try, the more disappointment I get from vorpX. Because I literally spent hours to make it work and lost these battles every time.
    Next I’m going to try Assassin Creed Odyssey…

    HI Ralf,
    If you had to make a guess, do you think that your CP2077 standalone mod will be able to be updated to work with the Phantom Liberty DLC some time after its launch?
    Thx!

    I found out some weeks ago that the standalone vorpx mod for Cyberpunk 2077 is not working on my Quest 2, so I went ahead and purchased VORPX as a program. I have managed to load cyberpunk and play, but I am having two big issues: 1. One is that the hud, radar and others are completely out of view in vr, and changing the FOV and modifying the hud settings, vertical and horizontal scale in the in-game vorpx menu are not working: I am very confused as to why this is happening, cause it was not the case with the standalone vorpx mod which did allow me to see the hud and radar while on vr and without edgepeek, any ideas as to why, please? and 2. whereas the standalone mod felt very good visually, with vorpx alone the 3d seems flat and somehow warped, making me dizzy, again, this did not happen with the vorpx mod no longer working. Can Anyone3 please help me get the VORPX program to work as well as the Standalone Vorpx Mod for Cyberpunk 2077? what settings should I have?

    Brief heads-up that the Cyberpunk 2077 profile’s mod component has been updated with the latest CyberEngineTweaks modding framework for Cyberpunk 1.62.

    I believe I never mentioned that before: vorpX 23.1 comes with a new profile update system that makes handling profile updates for games with advanced (mod) functionality more convenient for both me and you. Instead of having to push a full vorpX update whenever any profile’s potential extra files need updates (e.g. because of a mod breaking game update), these are now handled independently and download/install automatically if necessary. Prior that was only possible for the profile database that contains ‘normal’ profile definitions, now any potential extra files an advanced profile may require can also be updated independently from vorpX itself.

    When you launch CP2077 (without having updated CET for 1.62 manually yet), you should see a message about a CP2077 mod update being available. After clicking ‘Yes’, the game will close and vorpX will install the latest version of the profile’s mod component. On next launch CP2077 should work again with all extra features the mod component provides. Magic. ;)

    Since this is very new and untested in the field I’m not entirely sure whether it works 100%. If you encounter issues with the automatic CP2077 profile update, please let me know.
