You can test some profiles with the vorpx beta on your own, because most of the dx12 games working with one of the list. Try first of all Resident Evil Village, Grounded, Death Stranding, The last of us, Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption.

It is very simple, check the local profiles for all DX12 Games, and if no profile can be forked and give you 3D vorpx is not compatible with that game.

You will get used to it to do things on your own, if you want to use vorpx.

If no user profile is working well, there will be released a official profile by Ralf of vorpx. But you will have to wait weeks, if no user profile works.

I’ve recently started playing Cyberpunk in VR using vorpX 23.1.0 BETA. I’m curious about the best settings to ensure a smooth and immersive experience. Any suggestions or recommendations from experienced players? Thanks in advance!

Version alpha 9c is available. Adds compatibility with Cyberpunk 2077 2.02.

Users of the most recent vorpX beta receive an incremental auto-update, standalone users have to redownload and reinstall the mod.

    Thanks for the fast update!

I changed from standalone mod to latest Vorpx beta and it tells me that the mod is for version 1.61. I downloaded Cyberpunk 2077 [vorpX] profile. How to update it?

Same result as above post in the standalone Cyberpunk VR mod.

I reinstalled the newest CET 2.02 hotfix a second time and now the direct VR features work but no edgepeek. It could just be something else on my end or you all may have similar results.

I am using Oculus Rift with RTX3060, latest public drivers.

In CP77 I am experiencing kind of glitch, that is visible on linked pictures.
In VR it is way more visible then on screenshots.

Foreground objects cast “parallax shadow” on background – maybe such glitch has some name, but I don’t know it so I’ll try to describe and show.

So in right eye, background parts that are NOT visible (obscured by nearby object) by left eye are corrupted.
And in left eye, background parts that are not visible by right eye ale also corrupted.

During a game glitch is dynamic, looks like flickering projection of foreground casted on background.
It happens in both “immerse picture” and “full VR”.
It happens all the time during a game.
Tried some configurations (different settings, resolution, details level) but without an effect.

Any idea what else I should try?

Screenshots are pictures from right eye.

Shotgun obscures left eye view, and in that area that is obscured for left eye, in right eye we see “shadow” of shotgun on the ground.

Especially visible for three leftmost persons in the frame.
You can see “shadow” on their right side.

    Same as previous one

Very clearly visible as “shadow” of Panam’s face.

I’m new to modern VR but used to use old-style stuff with passive glasses with 3rd party software to play DirectX games. I want to play with stuff again, but I’m concerned that there won’t be enough VR games to keep me entertained, and I want to be able to play Cyberpunk 2077 & Baldur’s Gate 3 right away.

I have about a $1000 budget for this.

    I currently have a Gen-12 i7 w/ 64gb ram and a 3080 FE video card.

My current plan is to get a Meta Quest 3 ($600) + Quest Link Cable ($80) + vorpX

Will this more or less do what I want do you think? I appreciate whatever guidance folks can offer.

Lords of the Fallen 2023 is using the Unreal5 Engine. That may be the reason.UN5 may not work with VorpX yet.You may try a DX12 profile like from Cyberpunk2077, but definately without G3D.
BTW: I made a nice profile for The Original GOTY Game from GOG without Denuvo which provides G3D.

Ok got my Quest 3 + 4090 today :-) had to test Cyberpunk!
Kinda works – but I see a black border at the bottom of the screen. I think the resolution might not be quite customed for the Quest 3 (maybe its for the smaller POV of Q2?)? Is there a way to adjust it?
Is that what i have to play with?: https://www.vorpx.com/forums/topic/custom-resolutions-for-the-direct-vr-settings-optimizer/

Am I doing something wrong? I installed Vorpx VR for Cyberpunk and selected middle option for Quest 3 in Configure CyberpunkVR. My Quest 3 is connected through link, Oculus app is running and shows headset and controller as connected. When I run CP2077 I get a message

No Oculus/Meta headset found. vorpX will not work correctly. If you have a Quest headset, make sure Quest Link is enabled on your Quest
If you don’t have an Oculus/Meta headset, please select the right headset type in the vorpX config app.

I’ll try the OpenXR, but this appropriate version doesn’t seem to work?

Ralf… perhaps it’s just me and that I didn’t notice it on my Quest 2 due to the smaller FOV, but on the Quest 3, I notice on the lower portion of the screen that I can see outside of the screen (grey beneath). It removes from the immersion a bit. I know it’s not uncommon in some other games (believe I experienced in in Eldsr Scrolls Online), but wondering if perhaps there’s a way of rectifying for Quest 3?
