Im running the Cyberpunk VR mod, I have a quest 2 and ive tried with Virtual Desktop (My preferred method) and Air link and neither are working for me. When I load up the game everything seems fine I can look at the VorpX tutorial screen thing and move to the end. When I acually get into the game menu, none of my controller inputs work except bringing up the VorpX menu. So then I use my acual keyboard to press space and my mouse to get into the game then when im in game the controllers still dont work. I can look around in my headset and I can see my controllers in game but I cannot move, shoot, jump, or get any gestures to work in game. They all see to work in the tutorial screen at the start. But in game nothing please help!
Hi there, I can’t seem to get the standalone VR mod to hook into cyberpunk. I have the 2.0 patch and phantom liberty, and it hooks fine with full VorpX, but when I launch with the full app it doesn’t give me access to motion gesture controls or geometry3D. I’ve reinstalled the mod to see if that was the issue and the same issue persists. I bought vorpx just to get this working and i’m honestly pretty disappointed that I spent $40 to not get the features included in the Free standalone mod. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Thank you very much for your for your attention and information Dave ,Dellrifter and Luka. I realized that Witchfire uses DirectX 12, so I created a profile based on Cyberpunk 2077. I also followed Luka’s instructions and created a profile based on Unreal Engine 5. Both profiles have exactly the same result, Z3D, and because the game has a slider to increase the Fov, it feels comfortable. Later I will try other profiles following your advice. Thank you very much for your instructions!!!!!
Make sure to install the beta and let it install the additional components. The profile now comes with all extra features of the standalone mod. Alternatively use the standalone mod and pause vorpX while playing Cyberpunk.

OK, i can not believe it ! The official vorpx cyberpunk profile is full compatible to Phantom Liberty ? I thought it is compatible to 2.0 without installed Phantom Liberty DLC ?

You might still encounter that one shader glitch you reported earlier. Haven’t looked into that yet, but it’s not forgotten.
I can confirm the glitch is still there. Thanks!
BTW in case this might help with identifying the issue, the mod ‘No More Quest Markers On Screen’ by Manual Enhancer from Nexus Mods goes some way to helping to hide the markers during play although they flash in/out when in close range of loot (eg a dead NPC with loot etc).
Hi, I tried the recently updated standalone VorpX for Cyberpunk 2.0, but the results weren’t very playable out of the box. Just wondering if there’s settings I can tweak to improve things?
– The image doesn’t seem to track my head very well, it’s a bit jittery and the movement is off. Makes me nauseous. How to troubleshoot this? Or is this just expected behaviour for the mod? I have a 4080 and am running at Medium Settings to try to ensure there’s no performance issues to start with.
– When I turn in real life, the camera turns with me, but not my character. Is there a setting for this? I’d like to use physical turning instead of the stick.
– I couldn’t figure out the gesture controls, just holding up my hands didn’t do anything. Is there a button to press or hold to activate gestures? The option for gestures is active in the seems VorpX ingame settings. Is there any documentation for the various features of the mod? The help page for the mod leads to a “stub”.
Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 and in few days the dlc,too.No other vorpx game is better optimized.
But you can also play The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Enhanced Edition, it is very good optimized, too.
Hey I just started using Vorpex for Cyberpunk and it’s working surprisingly well so thank you for that.
I just wanted to know if anyone had a solution to aiming controls being reversed during vehicle combat? When I look to the left the gun goes to the right and vice versa. I checked the in-game controls for vehicle but could not find anything that would reverse it back. Same with the Vorpex menu unless I missed anything?
I didn’t find a way to edit my message but I just noticed that my controller don’t work with the Vorpex menus. It works fine with the game but not with Vorpex. For example I cannot activate edge peek using my controller only using my mouse. Could this be the reason my controls are acting weird during vehicle combat? Anyone know why my controller might not register with Vorpex? I’m using a PS5 controller wired to my PC btw.

Hey everyone,
So I have no clue why Cyberpunk (GoG version) has this issue. It takes 4-5 minutes for the game to load in the first place.
Vorpx tries to hook, but it eventually comes up with that Dialog Box saying “this is taking a long time” and offers me options like alternative hooking, etc.
But I have no clue why the game takes 4-5 minutes to boot. My PC is modern, 32 gigs of ram, 3080 graphics card.
Im just clueless as to why this isnt working. Have any other people with the GoG version ran into problems getting the game to run with Vorpx, or just gotten it to boot faster?
Just heads-up that the Cyber Engine Tweaks dev released a bugfix. You can either download it yourself and install it manually into your CP2077 folder or redownload/reinstall the mod, I uploaded a new installler that contains the updated CET.
Re crashes after a few seconds:
I had this a few times myself with the GOG version. No problem on Steam so far, but that might have been coincidence. Might be related to CET, so hopefully it’s fixed with their update from today. In my case verifying the CP2077 install in GOG Galaxy solved the issue reliably when it occured.
Hello, when I use Fullvr mode for cyberpunk whenever I look down with my controller the screen pans up on it’s own is there a way to prevent this or is this supposed to be this way?
@gtuf:
Not really sure what to suggest here except making sure that your Cyberpunk install is up-to-date. Launching the Oculus/Meta app beforehand can’t hurt either.
@dave.
It works with CP 2077 2.0, with or without Phantom Liberty installed.
