So I tried the beta and i have exactly the same problems as with the standalone mod from Cyberpunk ,exactly the same as I described above.
Absolutely unplayable, the motion controls work, but I have 1-2 fps evrn in the main menu.
I uninstalled the beta and selected Ralf’s vorpx profile and it runs like before, but unfortunately without motion controls.

    Uninstall the standalone mod first.

To do this go to Windows Apps & Features and uninstall voprx Cyberpunk mod.
Start Cyberpunk, set all graphic settings to low and activate DLSS when you have a RTX card.
Then start Vorpx and go to local Profiles and choose the original profile from Ralf first and look how it works for you.
When you Start Cyberpunk press “del” key to enter Voprx Menu and set input from Mouse/KB to Gamepad

Thank you! I uninstalled and reinstalled the game along with the mod just to be sure. Then I used the default VorpX settings for Cyberpunk 2077. It adjusted settings for me and suggested a restart, which I did.

I’m honestly shocked at how smoothly it runs. Amazing job, VorpX team!

One weird thing is that there’s an invisible line running through the middle of the screen, as if there’s a small gap in rendering the scene vertically. Is this a common enough issue for you to know what I’m talking about? Is there a fix?

I really don’t know the problem. Never happens to me.
You could try to solve the problem by changing the 3D reconstruction from z-normal to z-adaptive.

Or set in Direct VR Settings” “Preffered Resolution Quality” from “OK-ish”, “Nice”, “Nicer” “Ultra” etc. (requires game restart)

Please install the beta again !

What does happen if you activate or deactivate DLSS and Raytracing ?

Have you tried to deactivate the automatic change of game settings in the vorpx-config-tool ?

Have you tried to deactivate the headtracking or change some headtracking settings (for research only) ?

Can you switch from Mouse steering to full gamepad steering ?

Or please make a full reset of your game settings with geforce experience and a full reset of the vorpx profile of the Beta.

Last idea from my side is to make a full factory reset of vorpx and full reset of steam settings of the game and the steam-cache and all cache and game-settings data in the windows folders (Appdata + Roaming + Local + Documents + Saved Games) Please clear your Windows from all other folders associated with voprx and the game, then re-install vorpx beta and the game and add only one single savegame file of your old installation to the new installation of the game.

Thank you again, but I’ll give up at this point for the first. I’ve been trying to get everything to work for days now and once one problem is solved, two new ones appear… I’ll wait for the official release and hope it works. Then I have to play without the motion controls for at the moment.

    @ mateuszw

That is definitely not supposed to happen. Never heard of anything like that before, so there isn#t really anthing useful I can suggest. I’ll check whether I can replicate the issue with Index controllers.

    @ beemzy

Sounds as if I might have missed a shader when doing the HUD shader fixes, unfortunately 1.63 broke the prior shader definitions. It would help a lot if you could upload a savegame that exhibits the glitch you encountered. You can send it as an e-mail attachment to support at vorpx com.

Hi Ralf, any idea when there might be a fix for the above? Thanks!

I’ll revisit Cyberpunk later this month for the 2.0/Phantom Liberty patch.

I guess CP77 will be the best of the “Glorios Three”, with BG3 and Starfield. CDProject has the best storytelling, the best motion capturing and Characters, a modifiable game play from nearly pacifistic, or stealth up to run and gun, the ultra High-End Graphics and not last the most detailed and most atmospheric open world.

But it will not be recognized and valued by the masses and the media.

But for me, or for us with your fabulous VR Mod, and our grateful and more realistic view of our VR Scene to the game releases it will be a a real treat !

The time has changed and most of us do not have the money and the time for VR, then before in great years of PC-VR. It was a good decision start the beta and make savings in the development, thus many of us do not even recognize that your work here is now more enthusiastic than business like in great years of PC-VR !

You don’t tell much about yourself and the about the structures of vorpx, You’ve probably had worse experiences in the past.

All of these thoughts are just guesses and my personal feelings, so please do not be mad if I’m wrong. I just want to say once explicitly,

Thank you Ralf for your work in general, and specially for your fabulous VR Mod !

Thank you! Look forward to it. FYI using the latest DLSS DLL 3.5.0 I am getting pretty good results with limited raytracing on and DLSS in Quality mode

Too bad we can’t utilize dlss3 to generate the other eye

yes, and it should render it like the mvc codec which uses the second frame only for the differences between both eyes, because of a better performance !

Just want to put this out here. Was having trouble with this Cyberpunk VR mod just showing in what looked like Immersive screen. Nothing would work, even EdgePeek was not working with making screen bigger and smaller. Something clicked and thought why don’t I shut the monitor off, because had heard something on here about it. Made sure game settings were windowed, shut off the monitor, and restarted the game. Now the game is in Full VR and EdgePeek works as well. Feel like my gestures are not working but that is for another day.

Do you use the free standalone mod or the vorpx profile ? What are your Hardware Specs. ?

I used the standalone. Nvidia 3080. It had previously worked months ago but moved away from it and deleted. reinstalled and that was when issues started. But working now again so I’m happy.
