    > Thank you! I will try that! In the meanwhile, I found the way to get VR in Jurassic World Evolution, but with other software.

There is a special circle of hell reserved for people that drop comments saying “thanks. I found a solution” but not saying what it is. ;-)

I always try and counter Reddit negativity when I see it. I’ve also been accused of being a paid shill (I wish!).

I always try and keep my praise balanced: “It’s not for everyone and there’s no demo or refund but I’ve had a lot of value from it and I’m not the only one”.

And I try and refute some of the nonsense that a few people spread around about the trustworthiness of the licencing system.

    Thanks Ralf,

I guess I was really asking “This profile isn’t enjoyable for me. Is that because I’m doing something wrong?” – I know that’s hard to quantify but I can’t fathom the positive comments if I’m seeing the same thing that others are.

Peter’s profile was loading for me as “immersive screen mode” rather than full VR. Is that correct?

Should I be tweaking any settings or should it be fine as it comes? I’m finding the headtracking a bit unpleasant.

I have disabled motion blur and turned down a few graphics settings to help the framerate. Should I be doing much else?

It might have been another Dragons Age title. Is there one missing?

@Ralf I’d love to retire that accursed list. Any word on something better to replace it?

I didn’t start it. The original came from this thread: https://www.vorpx.com/forums/topic/call-for-clarification-of-the-supported-game-list/ but it was no longer being updated.

That’s pretty much why I referred to it as “woefully inadequate”. ;-)

However – it’s all we’ve got at the moment.

I inherited the basic structure and I’ve simply been trying to update it when new versions come out. I’m happy to take suggestions as to how to improve it – especially in terms of the parts that don’t really make sense or are irrelevent. (I’d love to ditch it entirely if you think you could provide an official alternative)

Understood – but I think it would be useful to have a list of games that support G3D as a bare minimum.

I don’t think anyone buys VorpX to play games in VR in 2D – there are other apps that do a reasonably good job of that.

I’d be interested ti jbiw if any games that work that I wouldn’t know about otherwise.

If I own any of them I’ll test them myself.

G3D? DirectVR? I’ll add it to https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17I07-RpOsVpc1XzswJ4zobAisT0ouoONXeNwGDjqDI0 if you can give me some more info.

@prinyo – have you posted in the wrong thread? At the very least this belongs in https://www.vorpx.com/forums/forum/technical-support/

    Thanks Ralf.

Can I assume that I can set “DirectVR: Resolution” to green for all titles that have DirectVR: FOV” set or is that a presumption too far?

    And this one:

    > Assassin’s Creed Origins: Z3D, immersive screen (full VR), DirectVR: FOV, resolution, tweaks

“immersive screen (full VR)” seems like a contradiction to me – so I’m obviously not understanding the terms in the way that Ralf is using them.

I must admin I’m a bit confused by the release notes. For example:

    > Battlefield 1: Z3D, full VR, DirectVR: FOV, resolution, tweaks

What does “Full VR” mean? I would personally have taken it to mean “G3D and full head tracking”.

That would mean the gold standard would be “Full VR” plus “Full DirectVR” – meaning everything is set up automatically.

However most entries in the release notes say something like “Direct VR: FOV, resolution, tweaks”. Does this mean no DirectVR for position and rotation?

Ralf – can you clarify? Even better – can you help us edit the spreadsheet!

    I disagree.

Some of my best moments in gaming have been in native VR titles. Rec Room alone has given me more enjoyment than most things I’ve played previously.

I’ve been playing video games since the ZX Spectrum and I’ve been through every tech generation other than Space Wars and Hunt the Wampus (I was too young – I did play Adventure however)

VR games are deceptive. Some of the greatest gaming experiences prior to VR lacked ‘polish’ and all the attributes people associate with top class games. Minecraft is a good example of a game that a modern studio wouldn’t touch but has had the longevity and engagement that surpasses your Fallouts and your GTAs.
