Isn’t this game supposed to have DirectVR support? There’s no DirectVR option in my in-game VorpX settings.

ENB effects make game look 2D.

I had this setup a few years ago and turned off certain options in ENB’s ingame menu to get the 3D back, but I forgot which options that was. Anyone know? If not, I’ll experiment and post if anyone’s interested.

    Hey Ralf,

Any idea when this DX9 graphics bug might be fixed?

SOLVED: If anyone else has this problem, the in game setting for mouse sensitivity is set to Low by default. This results in body tracking, but no headtracking. I raised it to High and headtracking returned.

Okay. I’ll double check the game settings and see if something there is causing it.

I don’t mind experimenting. Are there any suggestions you can give me on how to get the mouse based headtracking working? Maybe an in game setting? Or resetting the game back to default? What’s the usual reason mouse based head tracking fails?

Due to the far more complex rendering pipeline direct mode did cost about 15%-20% of raw performance when it was introduced last year. This was however compemsated fairly well by async timewarp, which also reduces latency. So all in all this was a win in most cases despite the lower raw performance.

With the new driver side async timewarp in 1.3 that supersedes the prior custom solution things feel even snappier. In the mid term at least a part of the lost performance *may* (emphasis on may) be gained back. That won’t make it into the first 1.3 update though.

    Hi Ralf,

It’s been a while since I tried VorpX Skyrim with an ENB, and I forgot which specific ENB setting I have to turn off to restore 3D. Do you remember by chance?

So what ENB is everyone using? Which is your favorite for VR?

I wanted a fantasy look, so I’m using RealVision. But I may consider a different one if someone has an enb they really like.

And as per IIRC your personal request there is also Direct VR head tracking for Ethan Carter now.

    Yay!! Thank you!!

I don’t know any of these new titles. Are any FPS? Which would you guys recommend for someone who is playing for cardio on an Omni treadmill?

Is somebody actually playing using an ENB preset?
I tried once and it sent my framerate below 10fps.

I had it working with RealVision in a previous build. I just had to turn off a couple of settings. I’m gonna see if I can get it to work again.

    Thanks for the settings!

Do you mind if I ask which ENB you’re using? I spent the day installing all the mods for RealVision ENB, only to discover RealVision doesn’t even work with the latest ENBseries.

Now I’m considering DAHAKA’S ENB, or Tetrachromatic ENB. Any suggestions?
