This looks seriously great. Much enjoying the already superb motion controller as gamepad/mouse/keyboard thingy for years. Gestures on top of that sound like the icing on the cake I didn’t know I was missing until now. One question: do both the regular motion controller mapper and the gestures work at the same time or can I use only one of them?
lurisParticipantPlaying with the motion controller gestures since a few days and love it! This is absolutely gorgeous, no way to go back to anything else. Can’t wait to see this in other games too.
Only thing I find a bit weird is how the buttons are layed out on my Touch controllers. I’d rather have A/B on one X/Y on the other one. Maybe that could be changed?
lurisParticipantJust stopping by to say thanks. This is totally awesome. I haven’t used VorpX for quite a while and was super sceptical when I read about this gesture thing. Glad I still tried it. Aiming is cool already, but what totally won me over was driving. Soooo much better than with a gamepad. Couldn’t stop driving around the city for a whole hour.
lurisParticipantGreetings. I’m curious: Is there anything special about your alternate eye 3d? Once I had the performance tuned like in the instructions, turning with the controller became totally fluid without any ghosting and double vision. That’s the best alternate eye 3d I have seen by a longshot.
I’m sure I find something to nitpick about later, for now I’m in GTA heaven. Driving around Los Santos feels like true L.A. with 30° outside. :)
lurisParticipantWould love to see this getting official support too.
lurisParticipantWill there be an official profile for the game in the next Vorpx version? 2033 and Last Light were great with Direct VR. My hope is to get the same level of support for Exodus.
lurisParticipantMerry Xmas to you too and of course to everyone else.
I’m more of a lurker here, but still enjoy Vorpx as much as on the very first day. It has come a long way since then.
