ParticipantI spent the last few days tweaking Fallout 4 VR to get the best possible visual result in my Pimax 8KX. However, despite HD texture mods, and fRenderTargetSizeMultiplier = 1.5 and Adaptive sharpening mod, the image always remained a bit blurry and pixelated. After a few hours I tried flat Fallout 4 with vorpx. Resolution set to phneomenal and baaam. The clarity and sharpness compared to the VR version is stunning.
If you prefer a clear image in front of motion controller, you should use vorpx.markus3776
ParticipantI think we can all contribute a lot to the spread of vorpx. I always read a lot of negative things about vorpx in comments on youtube or various forums. Here we should share our positive experiences. Surely vorpx is not suitable for everyone. But as an enthusiast it is probably the best you can buy for your money

ParticipantBaldurs Gate 3 would be great.

ParticipantThere’s a camera mod on nexus: https://www.nexusmods.com/hogwartslegacy/mods/522
With this you can move the camera with the numpad. Works great with vorpxmarkus3776
ParticipantIt only works with dx12 and only Z3d. Nevertheless its great

Participantvorpx gives you the opportunity to play a huge number of great flat games in vr. However, it must be mentioned that motion controllers are not supported. Since I only want to play in 3d while sitting with the normal gamepad, vorpx offers me exactly what I need. Meanwhile I buy games only after checking that there is a profile for vorpx. For me an absolute must as a VR fan. I can absolutely recommend vorpx.

ParticipantThe VR cinema mode is available in the properties of the game in the steam client. I guess it is in the generall tab.
I’ve not tried GTAV in the current version. I don’t have the game installed. I’ve played GTAV in April last time and I had no problems with vorpx. So I’m not realy sure that the game is still working. Mybe someone else can try it.markus3776
ParticipantStrange! I’ve never had a problem hooking in GTAV.
Have you disabled VR Cinema Mode and Steam Overlay in the Properties of the game? This must be done with every game when you want to use vorpx.markus3776
ParticipantAlso from me a big thank you. For the great work on vorpx and the support

ParticipantOn my site,I have to restart the game. I’ve not found any settings in vorpx that helps. I’ve tryed, Cinema Mode, Immersive Screen with geo3d, Z buffer, no 3d. nothing helps. Did I mention that I also have the Epic Store Version.
But I’m surprised what a big step you have done with that release. GTA5 is so smooth with phenomenal grafic settings with constant 90 fps with a rtx2080ti. And the auto switching camera mode is great (when it works)markus3776
ParticipantI have the same problem. I think the problem is that sometimes the change from EdgePeek (in Cut Scences) to the normal camera perspective does not work reliably. Sometimes it also happens when you change the character. Try switching to another character.
@Ralf: if you can fix that, GTA5 would be the one of the best VR games ever. Absolute fantastic work. You are the bestmarkus3776
ParticipantI’ve been using vorpx since 2015, back then with my Oculus DK2 and Radeon 9700GT. At that time, vorpx was an absolute must-buy because, apart from Elite dangerous, no game supported VR.
Today, I still use vorpx regularly. And vorpx is still by far the most important purchase for VR users. I’ve spent a lot of money on new hardware but I’ve only spent a tiny $24 on vopx. I got my vorpx key renewed every time I changed hardware without any problems.
Now I feel a bit bad. I think it’s time for a second key. -
