RJK_Participant@Ralf Ah i see thats why i couldt reproduce the error.
RJK_ParticipantIve propbably overseen Delli’s G3D profile, though thanks much for the Info !
RJK_Participant3D Tv (without HMD) works as well accept 3D vision. Seems there is a saving bug currently, some other guys have reported that as well.
@ Delli
If you wish to have access to my wiki page, drop me an email, ild be happy if someone adds more “how to shader” stuff to it.
RJK_ParticipantCould you please be more specific, what do you mean by “not very accurate” ? Thanks
RJK_ParticipantIf i my give a comment on this. Its a shame how bad some newer game engines perform. My personal recommendation, most games with the Unreal 3 engine have awsome graphics and you can play most of them even on an I3 Cpu with a GTX 970 with VorpX and medium settings.
Hard to say if an upgrade will bring you that much. Some newer games just eat up too much on resources. I personally play older games in max resolutions and swap over to newer games when better hardware is available to give a proper performance. (I am a fan of image quality too and i couldnt stand playing a game on 1080p or so).
Something you could do right away to boost perfomance though was using cinema screens, they perform better then Full VR.You can even lower resolutions while doing so without loosing visible quality.
RJK_ParticipantYou may try DGVoodoo2 v. 2.6 together with my Summoner Profile from the cloud which provides Z3D on Glide .
RJK_ParticipantIIRC the DX9 renderer seems to work in Z3D https://www.vorpx.com/forums/topic/auto-update-now-nothing-works/#post-186409 , depending on the version. Ive used the retail game and (an older) liberatis patch IIRC. The steam version is openGL only no matter if you install liberatis or not.
RJK_Participantvorpx also asked me for personal data, vorpx also asked me for a registration.
True, i guess i had my head somewhere behind the moon this morning
One thing for shure though, VorpX would never take money from you, then change terms of sale without telling you, then force you to do things that you have never signed for. (like “Steam” did last year with their giftcards for example.)
RJK_ParticipantIIRC You would be still forced to register at “Steam” though, otherwise you wouldnt be able to make a purchase. Besides “Steam” forces customers to reveal personal data. In my eyes selling something on “Steam” always puts a bad light on a seller.
I am in strong doubt that “Steam” users do not know how to use google and find VorpX, so that potentional you mentioned i would kindly call a pure guess. Though you name it: “Steam” makes cash on every seller. Too much ! I would strongly advice Ralf not to deal with “Steam”. Nvidia doesnt, Wallmart doesnt either, the Helixvision guys probably do just because they havent found an easier way. The way VorpX is beeing sold is just perfect, no mess with third party crap.Never touch an running system !
RJK_ParticipantVery well !
I too suffer from a stiff neck sometimes and slighly changing the immersive Screen angle vertically seems to make the affected muscles relax. Then after a while a change it back to normal.
RJK_ParticipantWhy should it ? I (as a customer) dont see any advantage of this. I wouldnt want to feel forced to install additional Software before buying VorpX.
RJK_Participant< 1 FPS with Dark Souls: Prepare to die Edition with me.
RJK_ParticipantVorpX 21.2.1 with OBS and SteamVR 1.12.2
Here are some updated instructions how you can record SBS with OBS. I withdrew the scene ive uploaded, its better to go through the instructions below because OBS seems to like loosing settings.
