RJK_Participant– Requires DGVoodoo2 v2.6
Apr 2, 2021 at 10:38pm in reply to: Anyone who would like to get weapons out of sight in FullVR games? #201637
RJK_ParticipantWOW !
RJK_ParticipantImpressing !
//Quake II (probably some other OpenGL games too) crashed on start.//
Will this fix cover the OpenGl Left/right black screen error that many OpenGL games based on the Quake Engines show currently ?
RJK_ParticipantAh, some editors on PCGW are probably mixed up with Native and SBS support. Not shure if i would call SBS – “Native”. I think i will leave these entries alone for now until this has been clarified. (One possible reason may be the lack of an “SBS” field in their site editor.)
edit:
…Note that the guide currently does not distinguish between stereoscopic glasses (e.g. native 3D TV support, side-by-side) and colored glasses (e.g. red-cyan, red-blue, green-purple) …
Your right, after reading that your games mentioned should be placed in there.
RJK_ParticipantVorpX has received different new hooking methods since i have released this profile. You may try alternate hoocking (vorpX config app) or make a vorpx desktop shortcut. Sometimes restarting a game can help, yes.
I cant speack for F1 and Wreckfest. If the game is officially supported by vorpx please report errors in the support forum. IIRC Wreckfest is not officially supported and user profiles are not always provide 3D (unfortunately).
RJK_ParticipantAgain:
– dgvoodoocpl.ese and dgvoodoo.conf into game folder
– For a DX3-7 game, d3dimm.dll and ddraw.dll into the game folder
– for a DX8 game d3d8.dll into game folder
– for a DX9 game d3d8.dll into game folder
– If a game is 64bit, take the X64 files.– DX9:
– Rename d3d9.dll to v3d9.dll
– Open a hex edior
– Replace any entry d3d9.dll with v3d9.dll in ANY file in the game folder
– Same as above: d 3 d 9 . d l l with v 3 d 9 . d l l (if found)
– If nothing is found you may be out of luck
– Make shure you get the DGvoodoo2 logo before making any changes and without VorpX. If you dont, your game will not work at all.
– some rare games require v3d9.dll to be present in windows/system32 and windows/syswow64– use the vorpX DGVoodoo2 factory profile or one of my DGVOodoo2 profiles
– Note: they are all different !
– For DGVoodoo2 settings please refer to its manualYou may be lucky with your game or not, there is no guarantee that you will have any stereo seperation. Many games dont work at all. DGVoodoo2 support is highly experimental. You will have stereo seperation only with a proper profile. No 3D without. Important: there are differnces beetween different versions of DGVoodoo2. Always use the version that a profile indicates. Note: above 2.6 may not work with vorpX.
GLIDE:
– if your game is glide use the glide dlls and the vorpX factory profile (only 2D)
RJK_ParticipantOgrescar: we appreciate that you want to help, but please also name the profile you were using to produce 3D.
RJK_Participant– The game is DX9 https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Rayman_Legends
– Use this list to find DX9 games in the cloud: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/List_of_DirectX_9_games
– Best if you forget about DGVoodoo for now, it wasnt a good idea to put you on that train in the first place . DGVoodoo only makes sense if any other method fails, besides renaming and editing files for a DX9 game DGVoodoo requires either the vorpx-DGVoodoo DX11 factory profile or one of my cloud profiles marked with “dgvoodoo”. Note: the latest (dx12) release may not work anymore with vorpx. 2.6 is the latest release ive tested. For older releases use this link http://dege.freeweb.hu
RJK_ParticipantYou can play full VR but crosshair is a harder to spot as in cinema mode.
RJK_ParticipantI have no idea, you are the expert.
RJK_ParticipantUsing DGVoodoo2 for a DX9 game requires additional steps https://www.vorpx.com/forums/topic/news-on-dgvoodoo-2/#post-176451 – https://www.vorpx.com/forums/topic/news-on-dgvoodoo-2/page/2/#post-192542
I suggest trying other DX9 profiles from the cloud before doing that though.
RJK_ParticipantThis is weird, i have this error too ” Please put on your headset” while viewing the errorpage through my Headset (Vive PRo) with some of the unity players (DeoVR/Gizmo etc.) and Steam VR ( without VorpX ! ) on certain webpages. I would guess the error has something to do with SteamVR.
