steph12Participantnot even close to be doable, each games use different injection methods depending on their engine etc, plus even if they are in background they still use ressources like VRAM, ram, cpu, etc…
nice dream tho :D

steph12Participantmuch respect for those guys who share and spend a lot of time to make more games playable with vorpx, seriously, we can’t thank them enough !!
steph12Participantwelcome back Ralf :)
hope you had some well deserved rest ^^
steph12Participanteverquest 1 is such a old game, i believe it runs with dX9 ?
i have no idea if you can get this game to work with vorpx, been like 10 years since i last played everquest 1 so didnt have a chance to try it.
you could try to copy game using dx9 and link those profile copy to everquest exe, try one by one maybe some profile could hook ?
you can run unsupported game just fine using vorpx, lately i ran darksiders 3 from start to finish with Z3D/G3D using some official profile game, but you have to try by yourself and pray to get one working.
steph12ParticipantThanks, steph12! You too. The first exciting happening of 2019 will be the next version of VorpX, lol, amiright?
yep ! :) and in january we have resident evil 2 2019 release, running on same engine than resident evil 7, i will try to make it run at least in Z3D day one :D
steph12Participantput the headset on your bed, make it face the ceiling, then in that position, press alt + spacebar, that should put the screen on ceiling-like.
i never tried it, but that should work ?
steph12ParticipantMerry christmas for you all guys and girls :)
Thank you Ralf for already 2 years (in my case) of wonderful Vr moments thanks to Vorpx.
I hope you take the time to relax specially now ^^
steph12Participanti hope your hearing will go better pretty soon RJK_, and once again, thank you for everything you are doing for the vorpx community, you’re amazing :D

steph12Participantthanks for the pic ^^
well, i think i’m going to pass then, with my bad luck i will probably get comfort issue as well.
enjoy it tho, this bad boy seems to have such nice display and good tracking :D

steph12ParticipantI upgraded from a Vive, and its a LOT better. (Although tracking isn’t 100%, but still plenty good).
The screen is drop dead gorgeous once you edit the config files to up the SS. No SDE, and almost looks monitor quality. And I did a simple mod to “elastic” the faceplate closer to my face, which solved any light bleed and comfort issues. Now, its far more comfy, WAY better visuals, and simpler to use than the Vive.
does that mean odyssey+ is not comfy out of the box and have bad light bleeding ? it doesnt fit your face perfectly ?

steph12Participantthanks for the links :D
yeah i got my lenses from there https://vroptician.com/
very serious shop, plus mine has anti blue light treatment, i can play for hours without having my eyes destroyed, before having those lenses my eyes were seriously tired/red after long periods of VR sessions.

steph12Participantalright, thanks ^^
is it worth it to get odyssey+ over regular htc vive ? i’m looking for something more comfortable, because right now, even with DAS, my htc vive is not comfortable at all, i got this comfort issue since day one (april 2016), tried everything, custom foams, prescription lenses to avoid using my glasses, DAS, custom made extra support to ease the pain around my nose, forehead, my htc vive now looks like a heavy prototype headset :DDDD
i’d really love a new shining comfortable headset.

steph12Participantwhy is odyssey+ tagged as mixed reality headset ? is it really a virtual reality headset like htc vive ?
mixed reality is like those microsoft hololenses headset for me.
