Did you also add the 16:9 custom resolutions? That should do the trick in this case normally.
Your other question has no simple answer unfortunately. In this particular case, given that you didn’t apply an FOV hack and that you didn’t change any vorpX settings, the best FullVR aspect ratio is 16:9. In other games, where the actual game FOV is closer the the headset FOV, a 4:3 or 8:9 aspect ratio is best. That will also probably be the case with the next vorpX version for CP2077 once I have added an FOV hack. Figuring all this out automatically without you having to know anything about it is pretty much what the auto resolution feature is for.
Hello everyone,
as with my current VR-setup (PS4 Pro & PSVR) I will not have the option to run Cyberpunk 2077 in VR with it, I was wondering whether vorpX will support game streaming (Google Stadia – PC internet browser / nVidia GeForce NOW – Android app) in the future.
While having a PC for everyday use, it is not up to gaming these days. Therefore a VR-solution for game streaming would be an option – not only for me I would guess.
Any statement from vorpX would be very welcome on this.

@ Obneric
While doing a bit of research yesterday I came across several posts in general CP2077 discussions where people suggested that the game would sometimes perform worse directly after changing settings until it is restarted. Don’t really recall to have observed that myself, so it’s just a guess, but maybe that’s what happened to you.
@ markbradley
Difficult to say how the settings corruption manifests itself excatly, isn’t always the same. There was some weird glitch were using either the ‘Cancel’ (restores the prior settings) or the ‘OK & SAVE’ (saves the current settings) button with a gamepad caused a “feedback loop” that made some settings change randomly before eventually vorpX crashed. If in doubt, it’s best to do the suggested factory reset, that way you can be sure everything is as it is supposed to again.
Mod’s to help with crashes and increase FPS and FOV.
1. May increase FPS and Fix some bugs

3.FOV slider (30-150) Only works up to 117 in vorpx for me.

@Ralf
I hope it is ok for me to put these mod’s on here but these help me to get the game running very nice in voprx.
How to improve Cyberpunk 2077’s performance on PC.

First, head to the game’s folder. Then select engine >> config >> open memory_pool_budgets.csv in Wordpad Find PoolCPU and PoolGPU in the document
Change the PoolCPU values to use half of what your RAM is for PC, leaving 4 GB for Windows to run
Lookup your GPU and check how much VRAM you have, whatever that number is, use that for the PoolGPU field
Played it with Vorpx last night, first time ever using it… here is my set up:
5900x with large water cooler
3090FE
32GB 3600 clock RAM
Oculus Quest 2
Samsung PCIE4 Pro SSD
9 case fans
How was it?
Cyberpunk 2077 is full of glitches, including and particularly annoying HUD glitches. The game crashed once, another time I got stuck and couldn’t move, had to restart. G3D also is not that great.
But…. it was also well worth it. This is the absolute cutting edge of gaming and our boy Ralf really deserves the credit for the quick turn around with a solution to at least get it running on Vorpx. Worth every penny and double thank you for the quick turn around time on getting a software key. Fantastic. Will absolutely recommend. People who complain about Vorpx or ask if it’s really worth the money need to grow up.
Also with these settings I was able to just about max out the graphics on the Oculus, using DLSS. I turned my monitor OFF so that I had as much GPU available as possible.
Also just want to say S/O to Paradise Decay on YouTube, coming straight out of the box having never really used SteamVR or Vorpx before, his video guide on YouTube really helped me get it up and running quickly, figuring out what to boot up in which order.

A few quick questions….
— Is there any way to make the Vorpx background just a solid back color? This would make it way more immersive IMHO especially because you need to use edge peak constantly. I looked in the config and didn’t see anything. I see the colored bars at the bottom of the screen when zoomed in and it’s very distracting.
— Did anyone ever come up with a solution for the ‘split screen issue’ that occurs during cut scenes when using DLSS? IIRC I turned DLSS off and had the same issue…
— Can you use custom resolutions? I was using 1080P with DLSS… is there a way to increase the resolution to the Oculus native res?
Perhaps in connection with this hype with Cyberpunk 2077, you can release a trial version so that people understand the whole buzz of this
It seems very temperamental with Oculus Link.
I found the best way to get it to works is…
1. After any update to VORPX, I reset settings to pre-vorpx and allow it to refresh again.
2. However, before that I fully close down VORPX.
3. Start it clean.
4. Launch link
5. Use Monitor view in Link to highlight CP2077 shortcut, but don’t click it.
6. Switch to Library view and hit enter on keyboard to launch the game.
Finally it will launch in VR rather than flat.
If I don’t follow these steps, VORPX fails to hook using Oculus Link (for me) and just launches in 2D.
Using VorpX 21.1.0.2, GOG CyberPunk 2077 1.0.4, Reverb G2, GTX-1080TI, 8700K, 16GB, 1920×1080 monitor
I am new to VorpX so forgive me if this is PEBKAC, but I start SteamVR which eventually then opens up WMR. Then I click “Start VorpX” and then select “Cyberpunk 2077 -> Apply & Close”. Then I start Cyberpunk 2077 and it just goes through its usual motions and VorpX just doesn’t attach. Even tried the “Alternative Hooking Method”.
Can someone suggest some alternative settings in CyberPunk because I usually find if those are wrong/bad in a game then VorpX won’t attach. I’ve tried 1280×960 as a screen resolution as well as just 1920×1080 – neither work :(
I think Gears5 is dx12, so despite being an Unreal Engine 4 game, no existing profile for that engine will work. You can try one of the four dx12 profiles that do exist (Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Cyberpunk2077).
@ Ecnarps : vorpX should ask whether you want to install a profile database update when you launch it. That will include the updated profile. If that fails for some reason, you can grab the latest profile manually from the cloud profiles page in the config app, it’s named Cyberpunk 2077 [vorpX]. That is not necessary though if you get the database pop-up on start.
I’m not 100% sure — I’m just guessing based on the thread around Cyberpunk blocking the virtual input (Steam Controller mouse input) while the VorpX emulated mouse still worked — so they are obviously different somehow.
If I play the game normally with the Steam Controller or DualShock 4 (gamepad + mouse input on the gyro and the hex edit from Reddit) the UI doesn’t flicker, but VorpX still does (since the game somehow things the VorpX mouse is a hardware device).

Hi, I’m new. I’ve bought Vorpx for play Cyberpunk 2077. I’ve the HP Reverb G1 and I’ve some questions:
1. In the menus, if I move the head, the menus also moves so for read some text in the limits, I’ve to move the eyes without move the head.
2. In game, I see a lot the limits of the screen, so I wonder if I can make the image bigger.
3. The HP resolution is 2160×2160, but in the game settings I can only select up to 1920×1080. Can I improve the resolution?
4. In Nexus mod it’s available a mod that can change the FOV above 100. It will work with Vorpx?
5. The HUD is in the borders, and I can’t see the borders moving the head. It is possible to reduce the HUD?
Thank you very much in advance.
@ Ogrescar: there must be something that gets in the way. I’m sure there would be more posts like yours here if there was some general hooking issue. Since you are quite versed using vorpX you probably did that already, but just in case you didn’t, going through the trouble shooting guide in regard to hooking conflicts is worth a shot.
The game should also work fine with the latest nVidia drivers (460.79), which were released just yesterday specifically for Cyberpunk 2077, a driver downgrade should definitely not be necessary.
VorpX noob here:
Anyway to get this to work with the GOG version of CP2077?
If so, how? Thanks!
(Using a RiftS with 2070 Super, latest version of VorpX, latest version of Nvidia drivers, etc).
