Mmm, last time I checked X3 it was clearly 3D. In a large scale space sim you will have to fly fairly close to a station though to notice much of a 3D effect. Just like in reality things hundreds of meters away don’t really have any parallax. If it was any different, everything would look like a miniature world.
From the games on your list personally I would recommend Dead Space, Jedi Knight II, Prey 2017 (must play if you like Deus Ex & Co., you may want to stick to Z3D though), Crysis, Black Mesa, Fallout New Vegas, Left4Dead 2. Most of the others aren’t even officially supported, so I can’t comment on them.
Black Mesa, Fallout New Vegas, Left4Dead 2 have the best possible DirectVR support imaginable, even allowing a little bit of roomscale. Jedi Knight II has DirectVR rotaional tracking and FOV, Crysis and Prey 2017 have DirectVR FOV. All seven should be playable pretty much without tweaking except for adjusting resolution and image quality to your liking.
No prob, but hey the forum isnt that big, 10 people write here on average per day just look into the support section. This is also a thing that wonders me, when i found my first profiles 1-2 weeks ago I though people would suck it right outta my hands but except for Crash Bandicoot (7) there was practicaly no download ? Brings me to your second question , take a look at the offical profiles in most cases I found them very conservative, I think Ralf takes a look that the official profiles look clean one way and the content stay mostly unspoiled close to original bc think of it theres a whole company creating a game and then finally there is a DreadedKane bring out a profile by his own taste putting 30% shaders to trash for the strenght. This will never be official. I think its a clever way leave them mostly 2d and leave it to everybody at home messing around. Just guessing but think of it. A little bit sad because nobody may see/play Deadspace3 like me, its so real i dont even like to be in the game:)
Oh man, I couldn’t imagine playing Dead Space in VorpX. That would be awesome and terrifying all balled up into one, lol.
Short moderator intervention, sorry: there are no written post guidelines anywhere, so this is my fault. Please avoid full quotes, especially when answering a post directly above. Such quotes are largely redundant and make threads harder to read. Thanks.
To add something more interesting to the discussion: the Dark Souls games work quite well, same for the Dead Space series, also Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City (Arkham Knight following in the next update). And if you like something a bit out of the ordinary: Psychonauts, Bayonetta, Alice Madness Returns.

Hi, I’m new, and french, so sorry if my english is poor.
I have a problem with any games with voprx.
For example with Alien Invasion or Dead space 2 or 3 or other game. In the htc vive the picture is too much in the right, is not centering, but in the option alt + space is centering, so for example in Alien, I can’t see the screen in the all left so I don’t see my life ….
Someone have already salve or see problem like this ?
I’m gonna make it a top 10 😉
1. Alien Isolation
2. Dead Space 1-3

Hi i cant run enb but i use the injector for the memory fix. So yes enb kind of works..I need to pause the watcher because if u dont the mesage waiting too long for the tesv.exe or even exe not found. As i said i need to delay the start of the tesv.exe in order to avoid that message, although sometimes vorpx kicks in but very rare . I used the watcher pause method on almost every game except FO4 and Skyrim SE. TW3, Syrim original dead space3 need the watcher pause thing because i dont want to restart the games four 4 or five times..
As said in my original post NMM works fine without the watcher put on puase.. MO is the problem its too fast loading tesv.exe….
I have not tried many games with vorpx yet, because my current CPU is too slow to handle the extra power. But I found a video on youtube showing Dead Space 3 on vorpX, running pretty well with everything: 3D geometry, head- and positional tracking.
Check out this thread. There should others running well with positional tracking: https://www.vorpx.com/forums/topic/is-there-one-game/
I have the Origin version of Dead space 3. It requires it to be run from Origin. How do you this to run with VorpX? It seems to have issues, and wont let me use VorpX.
I just trialed 5 games with Vorpx
Dead Space
Dead Space 2
Dead Space 3
Need for Speed Shift/Shift 2
Need for Speed Rivals
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2012
Do these games share the same engine?
All of them support Geometry 3D, but all of them produce a black flicker which is unbearable, all games are running well above 45fps
The game i normally play, (Half Life 2 Cinematic Mod) does not reproduce the same problem, any thoughts?
Hi, I have the version of dead space 3 that is attached to uplay, so it does not work with VorpX.
Any suggestions?
