Actually got Deliver at All costs working almost perfectly with the Firewatch profile (another unity game — Inside almost worked but the convergence/focus was off)
Geometry mode does make a lot of the text/textures in game overlap oddly and either be fuzzy or a bit broken, but with some strength tweaks it is playable. Let me know if anyone finds a better one.
I know this is a really old thread, just wanted to let anyone interested know that the Firewatch profile still works with Hardspace – Shipbreaker. You can search for it in the cloud profiles in vorpX.
Make sure you match the game resolution as closely as you can to your headseat. There is also a mod out there to adjust the FOV in-game.
As for the camera drag issue, it can be made much better by adjusting the head view sensitivity in vorpX settings once in-game.
If you combine all these elements, it makes for a really good VR experience, even better than the VR mod that someone made for this game specifically. It does say in the mod’s description that it doesn’t work really well and for some reason it skips rendering some parts of the HUD which are vital for gameplay.
With vorpX you don’t have any of those issues, it works really well.
Nice little new Game: Little Orpheus (Unity Engine) – none of the known Unity profiles hooks unfortunately (Ori, Firewatch..)
anyone found a working profile? these side scrollers look usually super cool with Vorpx like Planet Alpha

I have setup Vorpx for many games without official profiles. The trick is to research the game engine (Unreal, Unity, etc) and the graphics API (DirectX, OpenGL, etc) for the game, and then find an existing profile based on a game that matches those two criteria and try it out. Since game engines and API have different versions you want to find an existing profile made around the same year as the unofficial game for which you want to setup a profile. I only play games in geometry 3D (not Z3D) so I look for profiles in which they claim it has G3D (geometry 3D).
For example, the latest Unreal Directx 11 (maybe 12?) profile I found people talking about on the forum was made for Medieval Dynasty and it works for Ranch Simulator and Bus Simulator both of which are Unreal DirectX 11 games made around the same year as Medieval Dynasty.
Some good profiles to start are:
Ark:Survival Evolved – Unreal Engine (2019 and earlier)
Medieval Dynasty – Unreal Engine (2020 and later)
Firewatch – Unity Engine
I’ve been doing a lot of virtual trekking and sight seeing in the Assassin’s Creed Discovery Tours this week, enjoying the improvements of fidelityFX with high resolution Z3D. If you have a high res headset like Reverb and a system to push 2880p and higher, the detail and image clarity become quite impressive.
With a few adjustments to game FOV and fullVR mode, you can enter first-person view and passively explore the cities and landscapes of ancient Egypt and Greece. Discover ruins, walk along the beaches and mountains, among the animals and soldiers, people-watch the NPCs, and marvel at the architectures. The detail and draw distances are stunning.
And this weekend I returned to theHunter: Call of the Wild and had a great time exploring the new Alaska and Colorado reserves with my new dog companion. Each reserve has a story mission narrative (similar to Firewatch) that guides you through many points of interest. You don’t even need to do any hunting if you don’t want, though you will need to be mindful to avoid bears, wolves, and mountain lions. I like to pack my tent and ATV, set the time of day to near sunrise or sunset, and head out to explore forests and trails and hike to high vantage points. The vistas of nature are often very captivating – you would be hard pressed to find any better in video games.
I just redownloaded the app and burned a couple hours without being able to get a single game I want to play working. I have used Vorpx with success in the past but now it’s not working.
Here are the games I tried:
– Dear Ester: I load the profile and Vorpx tries to attach and fails after several minutes of waiting
– Gone Home: Same as Dear Ester
– Firewatch: The game loaded the first time, asked me to reboot the game, now when I start it, it tries to start, I get a black screen, then I am tossed back to Oculus Home
– Edith Finch is the only title I could get working
I loaded each profile before launching the game, tried rebooting multiple times, tried launching from desktop view, tried launching straight from the .exe.
I really just want to be able to hop in and play games. It seems like every time I redownload Vorpx I have to burn several hours before I get anything working, and even then I have to compromise on which games I play from the supported list. I have read the instructions, and followed YouTube guides to no avail. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong here? Do the titles above work for anyone out there?
Running on an RTX 3080 desktop, with the newest drivers and the newest version of Vorpx.
Hi, Ralf
Since the last update or the one before, the cursor in every game menu has become black, and if the game menu has also a black theme I have a hard time navigating. In games like Firewatch it was very difficult finding the cursor and choosing menu options
I don’t know what’s that about or if it’s related to a Windows setting, but i remember reading a post about a mouse cursor update recently?
If you see this maybe give me an workaround or point to some possible cause
Thank you!
Hi gentlemen,
Just bought the game “Uboat” on Steam. It’s a WW2 submarine simulation that probably has the best naval warfare graphics I’ve seen so far. The game uses the latest Unity engine and more or less works in G3D. It’s playable with the “Ori and the Will of the Wisps” profile, with very strong 3D effects, but the shaders need some work. Like I said, it’s about 80% there so I’m guessing it would be fairly easy to fix. I’m a bit of a computer peasant so if anyone is interested in the genre, I think this could become an excellent experience with VorpX.
As a bonus, I’ve tried Atlantic Fleet (also on Steam) and it works perfectly in G3D with the Firewatch profile. Seriously, it looks really good and, while fairly simple, is a blast to play if you enjoy naval combat.
Hi, i used the Firewatch profile and it worked, kinda. I have no mouse and the vorpx mouse is not placed correctly. What is the generic Unity-Enigine profile?
Cheers
Under Local Profiles, there’s a Unity 5 Base Profile. I simply used that one and my mouse functions are fine.

The solution for me was to use SteamVR instead of Oculus in vorpX settings as it was proposed by Ogrescar here: https://www.vorpx.com/forums/topic/genshin-impact-free-to-play-freezing-on-startup-with-vorpx-2/
Note you still need teh firewatch profile.
It freezes on me if I use the Oculus client, but switching to SteamVR works. Z3D works with the Firewatch profile.
hey,
this game uses unity engine.
use firewatch profile, make a copy of it, attach genshinimpact.exe, and tweak to your liking.
Z3D works great, G3D has shadows glitch.
if you alt-tab while ingame, game will hang in vorpx, so you’ll have to restart the game.
you dont have to run the game in windowed mode for 3D to work, unlike firewatch.
enjoy ! ^^
