Participant@forlaunchcast, thanks for trying. I guess its something on my end messing with vorpX thats causing it. Works fine without VorpX, and with VorpX right up until the new update. Oh well I’ll try to track it down over the next few days.

ParticipantJust to clarify, its a problem with the keyboard keys, the mouse works fine.

Participant@Ralf,
Very strange indeed. Both the radial menu and movement are both completely bonkers, and it happened right after the update. I’ve been playing this game daily for weeks.
Again, it seems like a keyboard issue with the key input lagging, so the movement is messed up, and radial menus lag. Almost like the new mouse input causing the keyboard to jam up.
Well I guess I’ll have to wait and see if anyone else shares the issue.dborosev
Participant@Ralf,
No, there seems to be some conflict going on with the keyboard controls. For the most part, the mouse camera movement in 3rd person is fine, but moving around with wasd keys, using the radial menus is very bonked. Lag in key inputs, keys being stuck on (like if I start walking forward, he just stays going forward for 10 seconds), the radial menus will pop up when I hit tab, but then stay up long after I let go. Like 5-10 second lag with most keyboard input.dborosev
ParticipantI’m sure the controller is fine as it doesn’t have to do with the mouse/keyboard input.

ParticipantRed Dead controls no longer work properly. There is some definite wonkiness, I think with the new mouse cursor scheme. Its impossible to control, he runs around seemingly at random, like the keys are sticking. Menus take seconds to load then don’t work and don’t go away. Movement is almost non-responsive.

ParticipantFuture proofing is worth the no new profiles. Very nice.

ParticipantI have to admit, I crank the 3d to 3.0 every time I use Z3D. It really does look a LOT better than 1.0.
That said, I don’t really feel I need it much higher than that. But if it was there, I’d probably tinker with it just to see how things look in different situations.
Ralf, maybe just link the “expert” mode to higher caps, and let people go nuts with a warning. Not for me, but it seems to be requested a bit.dborosev
ParticipantOh, I just checked the cloud profiles and there are like 6 of them so I guess it must be working…

ParticipantAll this time I’ve been meekly requesting profiles, when all I had to do was demand them!
Your best bet is to search here in the forums for these games. If someone got it working, it will be in here.
Some, like Doom Eternal will not work with VorpX.dborosev
ParticipantAwesome!

ParticipantThe game is superb looking in Z3D, and I’d play it that way anyways if I were you. Better performance and looks awesome. Just crank the 3D in Z3D to get a good strong depth.

ParticipantI can generally get better visuals with games using VorpX, as I play a lot in Cinema/Immersive modes and I don’t need 80-90fps, I can get away with 30-40 and crank up the visuals if thats what I’m after.
Eg. I’d rather play skyrim/fallout4 in VorpX as I can do this with all the mods, etc.But subnautica I’d rather just use VR.

ParticipantAh… that old bug in G3D. I’ve been playing in Z3D so I hadn’t noticed. Z3D is amazing for this game btw. Smooth as silk.
Got my bro into VorpX as well, so he should be requesting a copy soon if he hasn’t already.

ParticipantI always get nervous when I see changes to a game I’m currently enjoying. :) In this case andromeda.
Is there a way (or strategy) to revert back to the previous version, if the updates introduce new bugs? I’ve found ME:A flawless except for the scanning (lack of 3d). Haven’t seen these artifacts you mention, so I’m hoping it doesn’t break anything for me. -
