Interesting. Thanks, luka2099. Maybe I’m inadvertently using incorrect profiles for some reason. I would imagine the vorpx forums would be blowing up if this were a universal problem, so it’s probably just me.

This issue just started for me. Dragon’s Dogma, Fallout 3, etc. Anything but G3D just shows horizontal lines. Using Quest 3 via Link cable. Will keep playing around, but believe it’s a pretty recent issue.

Any advice of similar profiles that may work for the deleted profiles under a certain company that shall not be name? This company recently had source code stolen for the biggest game of the century.

Yes, thanks for checking on this! It’s great that theoretically it’s possible for z3d even though we can’t actually get the freakin’ game (legally). Ridiculous that it brings a 3080 to its knees. As much as I want to play it, reading the news on the disastrous launch is almost as entertaining.

Sweet! Thanks, Ralf. Yeah, the one in the vorpx/plugins directory was like a 3/20/21 date (USA date convention). The latest one I just downloaded was 7/23/21. I’m installing GTA V to give it a whirl, and I’ll comment further if the problem wasn’t fixed. I’m not really a modder, so I overwrote the new one in the vorpx/plugins directory. I didn’t realize vorpx was leaning on scripthook (for GTA V, RDR2) so I was perusing the internet on how to uninstall rather than install!

Not sure if it’s related, but I also can’t seem to get gta 5 to work recently. Works fine without vorpx but with vorpx, I get a script hook v error even though I’m fairly sure I don’t have script hook dll’s in the gta directory. It used to work so not sure if there was a gta 5 update that broke things. Yes, frustrating.

Can’t speak to this game specifically, but I know Gamepass doesn’t work well in vorpx. FOr instance, while people rave about Nier Automata in vorpx, it only works on Steam version, not Gamepass (don’t think it even hooks). Ralf has mentioned it before that Gamepass has issues.

Thanks Ralf! I much prefer vorpx to the existing VR mod on Nexus (assuming that was what you’re referring to). I have no interest in motion controls or first person. Want to kick back and play Valheim with the experience of looking through a giant 3d TV! Understood that their are no promises.

I was really hoping by now we’d get an official profile for Valheim. The unofficial works well, but it’s too dark at night. Anyone with experience able to fix that dark shader problem? Thanks in advance for listening to my whining first-world problem…

Afraid I don’t have a solution, but wanted to empathize with your plight. I wish developers could have VR modes but leave the original controls (mouse and/or game pads). There are many games (Forest, Fallout 4, Valheim VR mod, etc) where I’d just like to kick back on the couch and play as the game intended but in VR perspective (first or third person). This is basically why vorpx has been a lifesaver. If developers didn’t have to worry about GUI or controller adaptation in VR, I think we would have a lot more VR modes.

Vast improvement in look on phones/tablets. Haven’t noticed any change in performance. Well done.

Thanks, Ralf! Yeah, would be awesome if it’s working, but I suspect it’s a different version (you can see the uproar on Steam that their version isn’t as polished). I’m sending you positive thoughts! I think a while back this was one of your highly recommended vorpx games so am really excited to give it a go. Semi-related, no problem getting Jedi Fallen Order or Octotraveler hooking on Gamepass, so issue could be specific to Nier or the whole UWP thingie.

Thanks, Ralf. Really appreciate the detailed response.

I haven’t had Gamepass for long, but I was able to get Edith Finch and Darksiders Genesis working with no problem (this was a couple of months ago). I’ll fiddle with some things and let you know if I can get Nier working, but it sounds like it might be UWP. And, yes, much more willing to put my money on a working vorpx Gamepass profile than a lottery ticket…any day!

Can’t figure out to edit post….

Ok, ran RDR2 from Rockstar with 100% Mouse/Keyboard in immersive mode. No keyboard WASD lag issues at all. Sorry I can’t duplicate the issue. It seems to run flawlessly.

Hey dborosev, I’ll try to check RDR2 with mouse/keyboard in cinema as soon as I get a chance. Just FYI, that my version is from Rockstar only. Will keep you/Ralf posted.
