Can somebody kindly upload this profile. Looks like it’s no longer available in the cloud.

All of the full VR games I’ve tried make me sick. But in terms of looks, GTA5 is pretty nice. The depth feels good like a real VR game.

Marsupilami Hoobadventure. It works with 3Dvision Unity fix. Probably works with Vorpx Unity profile I just haven’t tried it.

I’m wondering if this will work with Nreal. That’s the only new device I’ve seen that might be worth the upgrade.

yeah I was thiking the other day that it would almost be better if full VR games started in edge peak mode. Once less potential pitfall for people who don’t read instructions. Also it’s easier to read the instructions when there’s not a giant screen glued to your face. Then the direct VR scan would automatically kick you into full VR mode.

I normally try a lot of different aspect ratios to find what works best. Lost Planet at 16×9 has black bars. I use 2280×2400 which is 19×20 aspect ratio looks a bit stetched vertical but looks great. No black bars.

When the gameplay starts you have to run directVR scan from the Vorpx menu. I just figured this out recently because I don’t read instructions :P

I’ve been playing Batman Arkham City. There’s no first person mod that I know of but the profile I’m using looks really good.
Close to VR at times when it goes into first person mode.
I uploaded my profile to the cloud.

can this fix things like when the game says it’s in geometry 3D but there’s no 3D?

Looking forward to this. I have to be honest I used to ignore the environments and just go with ambient. But I recently started using the cinema environment more and I’m liking it a lot.

edit “screen tilt”. Thinking it might be interesting for top down style games. But maybe you already tried it and it’s no good. Just a thought.

UPDATE: fixed profile on the cloud

Tweaking the Unity Engine a little i was able to fix the game. Please do never say again Tridef looks better then VorpX ;-)

Thanks will try. Actually it took some back and forth to realize that it was the profile. My first instinct was that’s just how it looks for full VR mode. Second instinct is how do I make the 3D stronger..

Personally I actually disliked the minification induced by S3D on a monitor so much that I never used the 3D glasses I bought 20 years ago. Funny for maybe 10 minutes, but the total opposite of being immersive. If you happen to wonder why S3D gaming (and TVs) are dead, that’s one of the reasons. Once the novelty was gone not too many people wanted their favorite gaming (and movie) heroes look like garden gnomes in a shoe box.

But jede Jeck es anders (everyone’s taste is different), of course. So hopefully we’ll finally have 99% of the remaining monitor S3D enthusiast’s ‘toyification’ needs covered after adding the screen scale option. From now on I’d very much like to focus on VR again instead of adding option after option for recreating every single major flaw of monitor S3D.

Keep in mind. This could be a you thing. Pretty much everyone I know who uses Vorpx is strictly using it for the cinema mode and raves about the diorama effect. Pretty universal. Actually this is my first time hearing of anyone who doesnt like it.

    Great, guess that’s settled then.

I’ll still add the scale option in the faint hope that with that any monitor stereo 3D enthusiast still left will finally be taken care of with their needs and wishes.

Next time someone wants more options in that regard however, instead I’ll remove all that I consider unnecessary. :)

yeah I’m definitely not a small screen enthusiast. However…triple screen. That might be interesting. Not asking for any new features of course!

I should’ve know that Toyification mode works fine because I’ve seen it in other games. Sleeping Dogs in Vorpx, for example looks glorious. :)
