Lawrence1962Participant
I’m worried that we couldn’t buy Headsets in the future, if “the big 5” Apple, MS, Google, Meta and Amazon will destroy the VR Market with their wet dreams !
Lawrence1962ParticipantTechland didn’t announce a VR support until now
Lawrence1962ParticipantMore new profiles and AFR 3D should be the highest priority of the next vorpx release !
Lawrence1962ParticipantThe Chrome Engine is used, a updated version of Dying Light 2015 and Dead Island. But the older games have support of dx11, and Dying Light 2 official supports dx12 only. That means that vorpx will support Z3D and hopefully AFR 3D, and we don’t know if we will need a new dx12 Z3D profile or it will it work with a existing dx12 profile in Z3D. But there are games in the past, in which dx11 could be unofficial activated by a start parameter, and it will work with older dx11 Chrome Engine profiles. But for dx11 G3D we will need two RTX 3090 Ti, so it will be impossible for us to use it until the RTX 4000 cards will be released. The advantage of AFR 3D is the decent performance !
The Oculus VR support was added some time after release of Dying Light 2015, and most of the players had finished the game before it was released, and i don’t want to wait for it until end of the year.
Because of Covid-19 my list of Triple A Blockbuster is very short until end of the year, so in my opinion Dying Light 2 is the most important release until October.
Lawrence1962ParticipantHitman VR Trilogy
Lawrence1962ParticipantThe quality is at the level of DLSS 1.0 !
I tested some custom resolutions and custom aspect ratios with the CRU Tool, which modify the nativ resolution of my TV to any resolution i need.
The DLDSR was able to run in 4:3 and much higher resolutions than 1440p or 1620p.The result is, that even in 4:3 resolutions the performance is not good enough, and even in higher resolutions the image is not sharp enough !
G3D works, but it is not worth to use DLDSR.
DLDSR is not open source, so nobody can modify it for our needs. The vorpx FSR feature is great, but DLDSR is not worth it !
Lawrence1962Participantdeleted
Lawrence1962ParticipantPerhaps we have to wait for 2.0 Release, DLSS 1.0 was same crap
Lawrence1962ParticipantIs DLDSR basically compatible with dx11 G3D ?

Create a text file called DrawDistanceBoost.ini (any name works) under “Cyberpunk 2077\engine\config\platform\pc”
Then add the following:[Streaming]
DistanceBoost = 42.000000The default value for the vanilla game is 0
Can be decreased or increased as desired, high values such as 50~ and above start to create flickering (this may be fixable if other settings get tweakedLawrence1962ParticipantGraphic settings medium or lower
DLSS and Raytracing off
Population Density low
Resolution Great
FSR Low + sharpen 1.50
Framerate Cut 66%
Headset 90hz
Headtracking defaultrestart the game every hour to clean the buffer and cache
Lawrence1962ParticipantWith a fov mod you can even play 3rd Person Games in FullVR
Lawrence1962Participantit is a dx11 game, there must be a few official profiles which will work. You can just test some dx11 profiles of the blockbuster of the last two years, if you are lucky you will find a good one.
Have a look here and search for newer G3D profiles, those are definitively dx11 profiles
Lawrence1962ParticipantDid you try a 6K or 8K resolution in the aspect ratio of your mod with DLSS ? I can’t set DSR 6K or 8K on my monitor, so i cant’ test this. Is it better than the mods ultra resolution without DLSS ?
Lawrence1962ParticipantMy monitor resolution is 1080p and DLDSR only supports the native hardware resolution of my monitor, and i need a workaround to set it to custom resolutions (4:3 etc) to use it with DLDSR ?
