RJK_ParticipantI dont own a Pro2, but i read from the web that the additional software thats required to be installed can be disabled. (Install is a must, but it seems using it may be optional). So if you find a way to disable that HTC stuff and run the headset with SteamVR only, try that and see if it helps.
RJK_ParticipantIt is not clear if the headset works with vorpx because additional HTC software is required for it to function. The software messes with resolution and several other settings which may interfere with VorpX.
RJK_ParticipantAdditional Note:
This game looks way better then the remake with VorpX, much sharper and more details. The remake (Shadows: Awakening) lacks of sharpness and details on characters for some unknown reason, also the game may become unplayable in higher resolutions on a medium power GPU, but thats what you would need. The remake looks ridiculously poor in 1920×1080 for example.
RJK_ParticipantAdditional informations can now be submitted through a link below a review. This enables you to make changes or submit a screenshot for example.
From each game there is also a link that fires up the VorpX forum seach for a game. Kind of a cross-reference that should be useful.
Thanks much RJ
RJK_ParticipantThanks for paying attention to this !
Little Update:
The Inofficial List now indicates when a review is available, showing a small
behind a game.BTW: Thanks for the first review from last night. Ive added a field to the submission form where you can enter a name or a nickname in order to make the review looking less anonymous.
RJK_ParticipantSaaadly the Shadow Man remake is OpenGL 3x/ DX10 which both cant be used for VorpX. Just in case: If the game (which i dont believe though) has a DX6 setting, my Z3D profile may work with the remake.
@Hydra, please read on here
RJK_ParticipantThere is another release out which (especially useful for profile authors ;-) let you kill the game (if it hangs etc.) without opening the taskmanager by simply pressing a button.

Download here (should include all required dlls)
RJK_ParticipantIf none of the inofficial profiles work, you may go through “Special”, where each profile has very unique 3D settings.
RJK_ParticipantUnfortunatly you will be on your own here. The installer from your link contains cracked software as mentioned on the download page. This may be the reason for the “AVP2Up.dll” and the missing lithtech entries.I would recommend buing the original retail game.
RJK_ParticipantPlease do the following: Run the game like it comes from the box. Press STRG+ALT+DEL and look in your taskmanager if you an find a lithtech.exe running. If thats not the case you may own a different version of the game and you may be out of luck. For any other exe name there wont be no need for a hexedit. Try to find out the name of the exe which belongs to the game and add that to the vorpx profile. e.g. AVP2.exe .
RJK_ParticipantYa need to know this software may only provide Z3D, not G3D !
RJK_ParticipantRalf, you will fly us to mars some day with your incredible spaceship ;-)

RJK_ParticipantI think its not a good idea to “fix” official profiles this way and not let the rest of the world not have access to it. 99% of the VorpX users do not even know how make do simple adjustments not to speak about using the shader tools. I assume thats whay DirectVR has been invented. For official profiles its always a better idea to inform the vorpX stuff in order to let everyone else have a proper working factory profile available. Publishing this “solution” is in my eyes kind of egoistic and does not keep in eye that this may raise unnessecary confusion because some users may break their databse. Further on with each update you would have to redo this procedure. Anyway: With one of the next updates this will become obselet.
RJK_Participant-fixed
Thanks for the Feedback !
RJK_ParticipantHow would you prove that you have the software completely deinstalled ?
