RJK_ParticipantHmm, just an idea, how about some “Merchandizing”, example:

I think this could be a nice way to additionally support VorpX.
RJK_ParticipantTnx Ralf !
RJK_ParticipantResident: Evil Village which modes are available on the new profile (G3D/Z3D) ?
RJK_ParticipantFunny, all over sudden the site is loadung without any delay just like a plain html site , even on a P4 XP/32.Must have been a network thing (got a new ip today)
RJK_ParticipantThose js plugins are pure memory eater. I think its that autooptimize script with more then 2000 lines of code that slows down the site somehow. Plus all the other scripts you will probably have a few Mb to download before the site displays properly. The site is slower as the old one on this end as well, but nothing really worth to complain about.
RJK_ParticipantThe profile is for the 2007 ganme. IIRC there should be an option in the 2014 game that let you switch back to the old graphics from 2007. No guarantee this will work though.
RJK_ParticipantUpdate May 2021 (Retail Version)
The original profile doesnt work with vorpX 20.2.0.1.
I have uploaded an alternate profile, 99% fixed. No more fiddeling around with settings exept FOV as described above. If you are playing in Cinema Mode the game FOV slider values are sufficient.Note: Smoke is 2D only and cant be fixed.
– Gunsight fixed
– Full VR with Headtracking
– Cinema Mode on Default
– Profile available at the cloud
RJK_ParticipantHL1 and its add ons using windowed mode will do the trick for 3D. (steam version 1.1.1.1) using VorpX 20.2.0.1
RJK_ParticipantIve made a sortable list where you can get a quick overview of which game is working with the new wepaon hide function. Anyone can update the list by clicking a red game. ( I didnt want to overload the engine checker with that.)
awsome invention Ralf !
RJK_ParticipantIf i may give a little comment on the matter, in my opinion this discussion (at least the title of it) may give readers new to vorpX the impression of vorpX beeing not as professional or important as Nvidia or whoever else. Noone would come to the idea to ask in an Nvidia forum how Nvidia is doing “saleswise” and absolutely noone will ever be able to guess how many millions of copies of VorpX have been sold or not. Regarding 3D, VorpX beats anything else on the market. Thats a fact and we shurly all agree with that. –
Better spread the word as Ralf said as possibly make the product look “small” by guessing into the blue without any sales informations.Apr 11, 2021 at 3:22pm in reply to: Is it possible to unlink a process from official profile? #201788
RJK_ParticipantFor DGVoodoo2 use you will need to rename the exe as well. So first do that. If the renamed exe does work together with DGVoodoo2, then use one of the DGVoodoo2 profiles from the cloud. Note: The ones ive created vary in different ways, so try different ones.

RJK_ParticipantIIRC the official DGVoodoo2 profile has been created for DGVoodoo2 v2.51. Trying out older wrappers from around 2.51 may make the game work with vorpX.
RJK_ParticipantOne thing that comes on my mind (not able to verify that at the moment). Start the game in exactly the same resolution your monitor is currently set to . Example: Monitor 1920×1080, choose this resolution ingame before using DGVoodoo2.
Apr 7, 2021 at 11:28am in reply to: If i create a updated Cloud Profile, how can i remove the previous version? #201716
RJK_ParticipantEach profile has an unique id in order not to create a new one on the cloud each time you make changes. I mainly rename a non working profile to something else keeping in mind that it may still work with an older older version of the game though. Best practice should be like: Example: Gothic 7 (old) / Gothic 7 (new). To be on the safe side, add a few lines to your profile explaining for which version of the game it can be used etc.
RJK_ParticipantPossibly a game update or a messy video driver crashes the game . Nothing that i can do if it crashes on DGVoodoos side. All you can try is going backwards from version to version to see if one works for you. Wouldnt go back further then 2,54 thgough.
