RJK_ParticipantToday i tested Spellforce 2 on normal 46″ HD monitor. Compared to a Vive Pro the resolution is really poor, so the only option for me became an active TV. (Recognizing that passive Techniques will half the resultion on a 4K TV and make it the same poor as it is on a normal HD monitor).
RJK_ParticipantProfile Update mar.10.2020

RJK_ParticipantThe emitter is not fired by VorpX and VorpX only provides side by side images. You would need a monitor or TV that supports side by side.3D vision hardware cant be used with Vorpx.
RJK_ParticipantThanks for Sharing, i added the game to the inofficial list.
(as you may have noticed i put the engine checker behind a password login, if you wish to have access, please drop me an email)
RJK_ParticipantAnyhow thanks again for the tip with the optician !
RJK_ParticipantThis morning i put my pass under a microscope
because “1” looked very similar to “4”. I clearly noticed a missing printer dot, so my numbers arent 62, they are in fact 68 (34/34) . Sorry for unnessecarily raising confusion on this matter.
RJK_ParticipantYoure a genius ! Just checked my “Brillenpass” and did a quick test. The result was quite surprising and confusing at the same time. Before my setting was around 66to68, the pass says 62. When using this value the image becomes very unsharp on both sides, somehow like in a tunnel. When sliding up carefully back to around 66 the image gets better and better. (What i usually do is adjusting until i have a maximum of clearness on both eyes on the same far left and right objects). Now i am back to 66 even the optician measured 62. Very strange. I would guess the vive adjustment is not very precise.
BTW. If so ,it must be a main vive thing, because i was using the same values on 3 different vive headsets before.
RJK_ParticipantThanks Ralf, I asked because i am still having a little trouble to find the best IPD setting for my eyes in main. Wonder if someone would create a test image or something for this purpose. What i did so far was measuring my eye distance with a slide gauge *lol but the vive seems to be needing very precise settings. Not shure if that method was good enough.
RJK_Participant@Ralf
i wonder if VorpX does a re-calculation immediately after IPD has been changed or does the game needs to be restarted after a change ?
RJK_ParticipantAdditional Info:
Do not use Force Resolution, simply switch your monitor to a custom Resolution.
RJK_ParticipantImportant Additional Info
– game requires VorpX shortcut
RJK_ParticipantUpdate 3.3.2020
– some objects fixed
– HUD fixedFull VR mode is working but not recommended because of auto camera spinning around a lot.Best played in immersive screen with egdepeek in cutscenes.
RJK_ParticipantUpdate:
– FULL VR Mode now playable

RJK_ParticipantAdditional Hints WIN7/64, may also help on WIN8/10
Sacred 3 is known to crash a lot randomly or having FPS problems. This gave me a headache too, but i think i got some useful hints on that. The below seemes to help. When disabling DLCs you wont be able to play them but at least you can play the main game.
– Game crashing randomly
—- DISABLE DLC’s (You may try to disable one after another)
– LOW FPS or inacceptable FPS
—- DO NOT USE Compatibility Mode on sacred3.exe (XP ect)Make backups of keen_savegame_0_0.sav , just in case.
PS: Absolutely great Hack n Slay game, big noise, huge explosions, excellent graphics ;-)
